Pet care experience
Former cat owner who also has living experience with dogs. My family has owned a gray tabby cat for five years and I was her primary caretaker. I moved out a few years ago, but I was always surrounded by pets! I took care of my roommate’a ginger cat and another roommate’s large dog. While they were away on trips, I took full responsibility, taking them on walks, adhering to a feeding schedule and grooming. I’ve played cat and dog sitter for many other friends as well. I miss having pets around, so I’m looking to care for others in need now!

This was my first time using the Rover app and also trusting someone else with the care of my kitties! I’m so glad I stumbled upon Nancy. She treated our cats with care, made sure their medications were properly administered at the right time, had excellent communication, and best of all our cats absolutely loved her visits. I would recommend booking Nancy 1000 times over and will absolutely be rebooking with her as long as she is available. Thank you Nancy for loving our cats while we were away!

I’m easy going and clean when it comes to overnight stays. I’m very organized and can learn any guidelines on how to best care for your pet. Have crated energetic dogs, coaxed shy cats and overall I’m pretty patient when it comes to animals and learning their traits/behaviors.

Let me know if your dog has any special needs or quirks and I will accommodate as best as possible. For example any medications they need to take, how often they need to go out for a potty break, what their favorite treats are? Anything you think is important for me to know so that I can give your pet the best care! I’ve administered flea medication and oral medication for both cats and dogs but knowing your pet’s specific behavior will always help.
A typical day
I would love to walk around the neighborhood and go to a park with plenty of space to run/play games. Parks near my neighborhood include Hyde Park Dog Park, Curtis Hixon and Julian B Lane dog park. If you have a dog park near your neighborhood to recommend, please do.

Availability
I’m currently working full time so I can care for your pets weekday evenings, most likely from 7pm or later. If it’s morning, I’m only available before 8:30am. I’m flexible on weekends and can do overnight stays if needed.
