Pet Friendly Piñon Heaven
Pet care experience
Loving dogs my entire life and a dog owner 30+ years! Currently my family of three are 11, 12 and 2 years of age. My youngest is a tripod who was adopted after loving and caring for my 16 year old Kismet. I have engaged in obedience training for pups and cared for my Senior dogs till the end. Our home is a happy, pet friendly environment with lots of outdoor space to explore. Open space and doors, our pups have freedom to roam in the safety of 3 fenced acres. I work daily in my on site studio with dogs by my side. If I leave the property I'm never away more than 1-2 hours, so your pup will always have company while you're away. I am a retired professional and dogs are my life. We invite you to come tour our space to see if it will be a good fit for you and your baby.

Nancy provides a safe, playful, peaceful environment for the pups in her care. My Doodles were quickly at ease and eager to explore. I was greeted with happy faces and wagging tails when I picked them up. I most definitely plan to continue day care with Nancy; the day with her gave my dogs the mental and physical stimulation they need to stay happy!

Piñon Heaven is absolutely puppy heaven! Our home is nestled in the foot hills of the Sangre de Cristo mountains, 3 fenced acres for our pups safety. The back area is roughly 2.5 acres that is fenced and the lighted front yard is also fenced and secure. At night pups only go out front to potty because it is a smaller area and easier to keep them close. All pups sleep inside every night, yes in my bed ;) Please feel free to come by for a tour, you and your pup will love it. I have actually had dogs refuse to leave with their human when it was time to go.

I am a retired professional now working full time in my on site studio. We (pups and I) are up early for breakfast and a morning roam around the perimeter of the property. We spend our mornings sitting on the back deck watching birds and throwing a ball, or specific toy of the day. After a few chores around the house we wander into the studio for a few hours work. During warmer weather, doors are open for pups in and out convenience. After dinner time we're outside again winding down before we crawl into bed. Life is about being with my canine family, their happiness and well being are my priority.
