Hello! My name is Nancy and I'm an avid animal lover with over 12 years of experience caring for pets. I have two fur babies of my own. This includes my 12 year old cat and my 3 year old cocker spaniel mix. While my cat is more of a couch potato my dog loves to explore different parts of san diego with me. As someone who was a pet parent on the Rover app before I was on the app as a caregiver, I know how important it is to leave our pets with someone we trust. I am a helicopter mom when it comes to my two fur babies and I would be the same way with your pets. I will care for your pets as if they were my very own. Me and my wife always leave our rescue dog Honey with Nancy when we go out of town. Since our dog is a rescue from TJ, she is very nervous around new people. While it did take a little time for honey to get used to Nancy, she is now one of Honey's favorite people. It feels good to have someone as responsible and attentive as Nancy to watch our dog while we are away. Thank you Nancy for always being so wonderful with our dog.
I have an 8 year old pit bull and a 5 month old French Bulldog and there is only one person I can think of to trust my babies with when I am out of town for the week or busy at work. That person is Nancy! She is amazing, it doesn’t matter what time of day or night it is. My fur babies get so excited to see her for their daily walks. She always makes sure to check with me if they have any allergies or if I prefer a single or group walks. Her car is even pet friendly with a fun and secure back seat! She is dedicated and passionate about her job and I highly recommend her to all my friends and family!!
Nancy is such a great dog walker, my dog Chanel loves her and always looks forward to seeing her! She’s a joy with all my pets and we love seeing her and spending time with her and her dog Elvis. He’s friendly and It’s always such a pleasure.

Like I've mentioned earlier I am a helicopter fur mama. Always keeping an eye on any pets I'm caring for so that they are safe and not eating or getting into something they shouldn't. Every now and then after returning to work in-person after the Covid-19 pandemic I would take my pup to doggy day care. I had been working remotely for a year and half and I felt this would be a good transition for him, since we got him during the pandemic and he was very used to having someone at home with him throughout the day. While he was at day care I was that dog mom constantly monitoring the cameras to ensure that my dog was safe and having a good time. Even when I leave my pets with someone I trust when I'm away I am constantly checking up on them by phone. I am just that pet parent, so I completely understand pet parents worrying about their pets while they are away and wanting them to be safe. Your pets could not be in better hands when they are with me.

I would like to know their feeding schedule, any medications they may take, and what they like to do for fun/what makes them happy. I would also love to know a little about their personality.
A typical day
I am available for drop in visits and walks. If walking your pup/s I would take them on a nice stroll through your neighborhood, making sure they have ample time to stop and smell their surroundings. If you are open to letting me walk your pets in other parts of San Diego just let me know. I would never go outside of your neighborhood with your pet unless I have permission. For drop in visits I would make sure that your pets have plenty of food and water, take them out to relieve themselves, maybe do a little bit of playing if they are up for it. And definitely stay in communication with you should I notice anything out of the ordinary.

Availability
I'm a full-time employee in higher education so I'm usually available weekends and some evenings. I know that many people may be leaving their home on weekends and I'll be ready to walk or drop in on their pets should they stay home.
