Special help for first responders
Pet care experience
I am offering help for first responders and other essential workers for doggy day care. If you work shift work I will work with you too. I would rather take small dogs but will take bigger dogs as long as he/she gets along well with others. I only want to charge $15 a day or if you can't afford much pay me what you can. I live in a very quiet dog friendly community in Centreville VA. My 3 level town home is a cozy place for my sweet 2 yr old Cockapoo Bella and me. Your dog is able to roam about the house under my supervision. I will take my canine guests on walks around my neighborhood following social distancing guidelines. My canine guests are welcome curl up on the couch or in a doggy bed. The way I will know how best to care for your dog is through conversations with you. You can call or text me anytime and I will send you as many pics of your little one as you want. Give me a call or message me on Rover to arrange a meet and greet. We will have to meet each other from a distance. I can come out with my dog Bella and talk with you from a safe distance. We can get creative as to how to hand off your dog to me. You can read my reviews if it will make you feel better since you can't come into my house.

Boarding with Nancy was very pleasant. My fur babies came home happy and tired. And, we could enjoy our time without worrying about them. They will be back again!
Luna had a great time at Nancy’s. I got regular photos and updates, I know she was well taken for. She also loved playing with Bella! Would recommend Nancy for sure!

I don't have breed preferences except I prefer to board small breed dogs. My fees will be higher if your dog has special needs such as diabetes and is insulin dependent or has behavioral issues which impact the way I need to plan my care for your dog. Special needs fees are decided on an individual basis. Some people like to arrange a "play date" at my house before their stay with me to give their dog a chance to become more familiar with my house and my dog Bella. If that interests you, we can talk about it during our meet and greet. Play dates are $25 for a full day and 17.50 for a half day.
A typical day
My Rover guests enjoy activities according what the parents tell me. I have a doggy playroom in my basement with climbing equipment and cozy hang out areas as well. I have treat games that challenge dogs to manipulate game parts to find a treat. . My dog Bella can show your dog how to play the game. I have a small fenced in backyard scaped for my small canine guests. Your dog will have up to 4 walks a day depending on your directions. We walk throughout the neighborhood which is very dog friendly. Inside, My guests are also able to enjoy my living room and play space on the main level of my house. It's definitely a fun time at Nancy's!
