Hello! My name is Nalix, and from a young age, I've been enamored with animals and nature. Oreo, my beloved senior Havanese, has been an absolute joy in my life, and our adventures to dog parks and dog-friendly areas always bring an extra dose of happiness. I find immense joy in spending time outdoors with furry friends, relishing in their company while exploring. Witnessing the bond and trust that develops between a pet and myself over time is a truly special experience. Aside of being a life-long pet owner, my journey in professional pet care began in 2013 with a pet sitting company, where I've been actively engaged in walking, feeding, and playing with dogs, as well as tending to the needs of our feline friends. Administering oral medications when necessary and providing overnight care have been integral parts of my role. Turning my passion for pets into a career has been incredibly fulfilling, and I cherish every moment spent caring for these incredible companions!

Nalix was great with my boy Bentley, very understanding and a true dog person. I was provided pics, which I always appreciate and was glad to see my boy looked happy. My dog is a senior and Nalix was very patient and kind with him, I felt very assured while I was away for a couple of days.
Nalix is the best! Frequent updates, pictures, videos. You can tell she really loves her job and the dogs.
Nalix was amazing!! Both my dogs were with her for a week and she kept me updated everyday! I’m pretty sure they enjoyed their stay I would definitely choose you again! Highly recommended!!

When caring for pets in a client's home, I prioritize replicating their familiar environment. I follow the established routines set by the pet owner to minimize disruption. This includes adhering to feeding schedules, maintaining familiar play and exercise routines, and providing companionship that aligns with the pet's usual interactions. Additionally, I ensure the home remains in order and secure, giving owners peace of mind while they're away. Whether in my home or a client's, the core principles remain the same: prioritize the pet's comfort, health, and happiness while providing a sense of security and routine!

A typical day
A typical day begins with morning walks to stretch our legs and get some fresh air. Then, it's playtime in the yard or park—fetch, tug-of-war, or maybe even a game of hide-and-seek! After all the excitement, a cozy nap or quiet time usually follows, giving us a chance to recharge. Throughout the day, there are interactive toys, puzzle feeders, and brain games to keep curious minds engaged. For those who love learning new tricks, we might work on some fun training exercises too. And of course, there are always cuddle breaks sprinkled throughout the day for some extra love and bonding. Each day is a mix of adventure, relaxation, mental stimulation, and, most importantly, tail-wagging fun!
