Dogsitting in Mitte

Pet care experience

My family has owned dogs since I was born. These have included German Shepherds, Dalmatians and Mini Bull Terrier. We even bred Mini Bull Terrier for over 5 years. I was born and raised in Berlin and my family still lives in the north of Berlin where there are lots of beautiful forests and fields. I know the area well and go there regularly to visit family and friends. I am familiar with the care of older and sick dogs. In general I would describe myself as a loving but determined dog person. I have no fear of contact and am very happy about every dog in my area!

Nadja has been the most perfect dog sitter for my dog, Gracie, and I can highly recommend her to any other pet onwer who is looking for a loving and caring sitter who spends a lot of time with your dog and makes sure your dog is loved and cuddled when you are away. Both Gracie and I are very sad to say good-bye to Nadja as we are moving into another city, but would welcome her anytime to come visit us. Nadja has always been very flexible and accomodating but most importantly very loving and caring towards my dog. Everytime my dog saw her, she got very excited and you could tell that she always had a great time with Nadja. Nadja follows all the asks when it comes to food, cleaning, brushing, etc. and goes beyond any expectations. She is very communicative and gives regular updates. She takes the dog along to her friends and even plans special things when she had Gracie. Thank you so much for taking such a good care of Gracie - we, and especially Gracie, will miss you heaps! We wish you all the best and please stop by and say hello next time you are in our new home! :)

Super Betreuung und klare Empfehlung! Nadja hat ein tolles Händchen für Hunde und ich konnte Momo guten Gewissens da lassen, obwohl sie ehr schüchtern gegenüber fremden ist! Gerne jederzeit wieder.

Nadja was so kind and took great care of our sweet dog! She sent pictures every day and he was clearly super comfortable and happy being with her. I’d gladly send Toby to her again! :)

I live in a 57 square meter 2-room apartment in Berlin Mitte. Right on the border between Wedding and Prenzlauer Berg. In front of the door is a kind of pedestrian street, which is nice for walks. There is also a lawn in the courtyard and the Mauerpark is very close by (3 minutes foot walk). One downside to my apartment is that it is on the 4th floor and the building does not have an elevator. I am happy to carry small and lighter dogs up and down. I would of course carry puppies in particular. Adult and large dogs should be able to manage the stairs on their own. I have dog toys, blankets and a bowl to hand. My car also has a dog seat. A veterinary practice is 2 km away and can be reached quickly by car. My best friend is a vet. Fortunately, this means that I have a direct contact should this knowledge ever be needed. I would be very happy if you entrust your dog to me and I promise that it will be in safe and dog-loving hands!

Information Nadja G. would like to know about your pet

Please let me know in advance if your dog has any special needs or behaviors that need to be taken into account. Especially special behaviors towards other dogs, cyclists, joggers. Is there any important information about food? What does your dog particularly like?

A typical day

Your dog and I will explore all the parks in the area. That would be Mauerpark and Humboldthainpark in the direct neighborhood. I love long and extensive walks. We'll explore the surrounding area and, if time permits, I'd love to go out into the north. The forests and fields are beautiful and there are great places to run. Of course, there will also be plenty of cuddles and playtime. Actually my favorite part of dogsitting.

In my job I work 35 hours a week and usually at least 3-4 days from home (if needed I can stay home for up to two weeks). During this time I can look after a dog very well. Regular pee breaks and longer walks are the order of the day. I can adapt my activity level well to the dog.
