Hey there! I'm Nadine. I have many years experience, taking care of cats and dogs. I presently have 2 dogs...A Bouvier and a Portuguese Water Dog. Both of my dogs have completed beginner and intermediate obedience training. So I am familiar with basic commands and only use positive reinforcement strategies when spending time with animals. I absolutely love spending time and playing with dogs and cats. I love walking/hiking with my dogs through the trails, playing fetch and other games with them and of course lots of cuddles.

I am currently offering services with dog walking and drop in home visits, within the city of Barrie. I recommend a meet and greet in your home. This will give me an opportunity to meet you and your furbaby. We can also discuss your pet's care needs, interests/preferences and if they have any medical or behavioural concerns. To ensure the safety of everyone, I am unable to provide care if your pet experiences significant aggression. However, I do have experience with dogs who have anxiety or are reactive to situations ie. other animals or strangers.

Please let me know of any specific care needs for your furbaby, so I can attend to them. It is important that I'm aware if your pet experiences any anxiety and how they react to situations (new people and other dogs) while walking. This way I can support them to be safe and have an enjoyable walk.
A typical day
While completing a home drop in visit, your pet's care needs will be addressed promptly...providing fresh food and water and a bathroom break. I will ensure that your furbaby has time to play games (tug of war, fetch), spend time outside and enjoy some cuddle time. While supporting your furbaby on a walk, we'll go at the pace that's most comfortable for them. We can enjoy a walk in the neighborhood or on a trail. I will ensure fresh water is available at all times.

Availability
I work in social services and work longer shifts. This provides me some extra time off through the week and weekends. I look forward to meeting and spending some quality time with your furbaby 🙂
