Pet care experience
- Available day and night - work from home - Experienced with older and disabled dogs - blind, deaf, need assistance moving - Experienced with medication - injection and oral - ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Reviews - No breed restrictions, I love dogs of all breeds and all sizes - Love love love cats too My name is Nadine, I’m 29, and I moved to Chicago in 2020 from New England! My favorite things include hiking, swimming, and yep, dogs! I’ve owned animals of all sizes - growing up we had 9 dogs, 2 cats, and a bird. I started getting into dog psychology after witnessing my first dog fight and realizing I was drawn to what caused it and how it could be prevented. It was amazing to watch dogs minds change! My skills include giving all the best pets and rubs, talking in weird voices to pups, and being active with your furry friend. I’m great at teaching dogs how to relax - a major benefit to choosing me as your sitter! I l truly *get* dogs and understand what they need when they need it. Not leash trained? After a few sessions with me they will be walking calmly by your side in no time! I am flexible with my schedule (WFH) and love to help dog moms and dads in any way that I can. Life gets crazy, I’m happy to be the one you can trust to make sure your fur child is taken care of and having a great time while they’re at it! I have experience with all demeanors - stubborn, pushy, rowdy, scared, quiet, shy. And yes even “aggressive”, even though 9/10 they are just scared and unsocialized. Let’s chat more about what you are looking for to see if we’d be a great fit for each other.

I have a fenced in yard with 2 pups of my own. Both are friendly. However, i like to go super super slow with dog on dog interactions. So it’s likely your pup won’t encounter mine until I’m absolutely certain they will all listen to me as the mom of the group. Sometimes excitement can lead to chaos so I like to avoid that at all times. A calm pup is a happy pup!
Information Nadine D. would like to know about your pet
How is their temperament? Are they good on leash? (Not a problem if they aren't- I can help in that department, just good to know beforehand.) How do they do with other dogs? How are they with treats/food? Cats? If they are staying over, I’d love to come meet them first to see how they are outside of my home. Please also let me know: - medications - how they like to be rewarded (treats, toys) - feeding times - “aggression” causes / reactivity to things - favorite toys - favorite treats - any allergies - any areas they don’t like to be touched - any other preferences they have
A typical day
We will be walking to get energy out, then inside the house we will practice calm at all points. I do have a bunch of dog toys and nylabone type chews for them to play with as well. I love working with dogs to walk calmly and will even use my long leash at the park to work on their recall.
