When your pet stays with me, you can trust that they’ll be safe & comfortable in my puppy-proofed 2-bedroom apartment. I don’t have any pets at home, and I live in a dog-friendly neighborhood with plenty of safe streets for long walks & a nearby dog park. I live in a 2nd floor apartment and I'm able to carry your pup up the stairs if needed. When caring for your pet in your home, you can trust that I will be a responsive caregiver and a respectful house guest. Whether it’s a quick drop-in visit or an extended stay, I’ll always do my best to care for your animal as you would when you’re home. I’m happy to follow any schedules or practices you may already use at home, and I’d love to know your pet’s favorite toys, treats, and places to go. *When house sitting, I'm available to be at home with your pets for most of the day. I will typically leave once a day, for 2-5 hours maximum, but some days I won't leave at all if I don't have to. *If your pet has separation anxiety or can't be left alone, I’m also available to stay with your pet 24/7 for an increased rate of $120/night.

Please let me know ahead of time about any health conditions, dietary requirements, behaviors, or specific needs that I may need to account for (i.e., can’t be left alone, needs help with stairs, not totally potty trained, needs to sleep in the bed/in their crate, etc.).
A typical day
Every animal has their own needs & personality, so I like to learn from you how they like to spend a day. Depending on how your pup is feeling and what they need that day, I like to build the day around them. With active & energetic dogs who love to get lots of good sniffs, I like to go on multiple walks a day, including long walks or even jogs if your pup enjoys running. I also live near a dog park where there’s space for off-leash playtime and interaction, plus a separate area for smaller dogs. I’m an excellent fetch partner, tug-of-war opponent, and energetic playmate who can keep up with your active pup. For lower-energy pups or on lower-energy days, I also love relaxing at home. I’ll make sure your pet finds a comfy spot, gets plenty of rest, and gets healthy stimulation from safe toys, approved treats, and plenty of scratches & belly rubs.

Availability
I work from home full-time and create my own schedule, so I’m available to be present with your pup while they’re staying with me, or while pet-sitting in your home. I’m also available for walks & drop-in visits 7 days a week, including last-minute bookings.
