Pet care experience
As a full-time zookeeper, I love to spend my time around animals! When I’m not at the zoo, I enjoy spending time at home with my husband and our 4 cats and 1 dog. I’ve been in the zoo field for about 8 years, but I’ve had my own pets (birds, cats, dogs, reptiles, amphibians, rabbits and Guinea pigs) since I was 5 years old. I’ve also previously worked as a dog trainer and dog nutrition expert in previous jobs. I know how stressful it can be traveling without your pets and I want to make it as comfortable as possible for you and your furry companion. If you’re looking for someone who will give you daily updates and photos and a person who will give your animals love and snuggles while you’re away, I’m your person!

This is Nadia’s second time house sitting for Thor and she always goes above and beyond to make sure he is taken care of. She’s our go to for dog sitting and the occasional walk during the week.

I like to have a conversation with the pet family about your daily pet routine so that I can do as similar of a routine as possible to keep the days normal for your pets! I have lots of experience with crates and also giving medications, so just tell me what you need to make your pet comfortable!

I love ALL breeds, all shapes and sizes! Before caring for your dog, I would like to know about their likes and dislikes. I also want to know your emergency vet information and have a plan for emergencies before our stay.
A typical day
The activities that we do depends on your dogs preferences! My own dog doesn’t like the company of other animals, so if your dog does then we’ll spend time in a dog park with your permission! I love to get coffee in the mornings and bring dogs along with me. I also enjoy hiking and walking trails. If your dog is like mine, they may prefer to watch TV over outdoor activities and I am also an expert at Netflix Navigation and watching.

Availability
I work full-time until 4pm on most days. I would plan to be with your pets right after I finish work. My days off are Wednesday-Thursday and I can hang out with pets all day on those days.
