Very flexible schedule + love dogs!

Pet care experience

Hello, my name is Nadia, I’ve been using Rover since September 2017, and I would love to be your animal’s caretaker. Please, read my entire profile. It’s a lot of information, but it will help you make the best decision for you and your animal. I first used Rover in 2017 and moved to California in late 2018 and had to say goodbye to all my beloved clients and their pets. Now that I’ve moved back I’m ready to start right where I left off! I love dogs of all shapes and sizes, and I don't mind if your Great Dane acts like a lap dog or your little Yorkie thinks (s)he's a lion. I have a lot of energy to play and walk with your dog(s). I will also watch cats, or any critter that needs a friend. Before confirming a booking, I prefer to meet the client and animal, for your peace of mind and my safety. During the initial meet, you can ask any questions you have, your pet can get to know me, and you can see if I am what you’re looking for as your pet’s caretaker. At the same time, I usually take notes - covering any quirks your pet may have, to where their leash is kept, and everything in between. I offer three different types of services: house sitting, drop-in visits, and dog walking. House Sitting - I stay in the client’s home while they are away on a business trip, vacation, etc. This is preferred by many pet owners, because the pet has the comfort of its own home instead of being in an unfamiliar place like a kennel/boarding facility. My usual routine for this service is: staying the night at your home, waking up, taking care of your pet(s), and leaving around 8-10am. I would then go and walk any dogs I had booked that day, do 1-2 drop-in visits (depending on your pet’s needs), finish walking dogs, and come back and stay the night again. Length of the stay does not bother me, I have done single night stays, and I have done two weeks stays. When I am in your home, I mostly spend the time playing and snuggling with your pet, watching tv with them, and anything else that makes them most comfortable. I will also bring in the mail, water plants, take garbage cans to the curb, or any other similar task. If you approve, I will gladly take your dog(s) to the dog park or on a walk through nature on hiking trails. My ultimate goal is for your pet to feel the least amount of stress while you (and your family) are away. Drop-In Visits - A standard drop-in visit is 30 minutes long. I usually provide this service for elderly dogs that no longer have enough energy for walks and puppies that can’t control their bladders. However, I will gladly provide this service for any age of dog, cat, or any critter. Some clients prefer this over house sitting, as well. My usual routine for this service is: entering your home, greeting your pet/letting it out of it’s crate, taking it outside to the use the restroom, feeding them if necessary, and playing with your animal the remainder of the time. I will happily follow any special routine needed for your pet. I will ask you for a time frame to complete the drop-in visit (ex. 11:00am-1:00pm), most of the time I am able to arrive within the timeframe you request. The bigger the time frame you are able to give me to complete the drop-in, the more likely I will be able to be your animal’s caretaker. Depending on traffic or how far the previous client is I may be a few minutes late, if I am behind more than 15-30 minutes I will be sure to let the client aware, this is not a common occurrence, just a possibility. Dog Walking - A standard walk is 30 minutes long. My usual dog walking routine is: entering your home, greeting your dog(s)/letting them out their crate, and taking your dog(s) on a walk around the neighborhood/surrounding area. This is the most popular service I provide on Rover. I will ask you for a time frame to complete the walk (ex. 11:00am-1:00pm), most of the time I am able to arrive within the timeframe you request. Depending on traffic or how far the previous client is I may be a few minutes late, if I am behind more than 15-30 minutes I will be sure to let the client aware, this is not a common occurrence, just a possibility. The bigger the time frame you are able to give me to complete the walk, the more likely I will be able to be your animal’s caretaker. If you are interested in my services or have any further questions, hit the green “Contact Me” button under my rates and services. You will then be able to send a detailed message directly to me. If the request is for dog walking or drop-in visits, please include a time frame to complete the booking. I usually respond very quickly, but sometimes it takes me a little longer if I am driving, walking a dog, or it is later in the evening. If you are new to Rover, the site can be a little confusing but most of the time I am able to answer the questions you have about the technical side of it. Rover is easiest to navigate and communicate to me when you already have a Rover account. Have all your information and all of your animals (and their information) added to your profile, and contacting me should be a breeze. When you press the green “Contact Me” button, it will ask you to choose what service you are looking for and what days. You will also be able to add a personal message where you can ask any questions and tell me anything else. Once the message is sent, the total cost for the booking is presented at the top of the newly created conversation. You can also change anything you like about the booking by pressing the “Modify” button. Please understand, that I have never actually booked a caretaker on Rover before, so I’m not 100% accurate on how that side of the site works, I’ve just pieced the above information together by helping other clients try and figure it out. Also, I use the app version more frequently then the computer version, so I apologize if the above information isn’t quite exact for computer users, but I’m sure it is very similar. Do not hesitate to ask me any questions about navigating through Rover, I will answer them to the best of my ability. Thank you for taking the time to read my profile, and I look forward to being your animal’s caretaker!

Over the past 8 months Nadia has taken great care of Lucy on her weekly visits and during a week long stay while we were on vacation. I highly recommend Nadia for any pet sitting needs. We are sad she’s moving away.

Nadia was fantastic every time we've had her. Sad to hear she is leaving Missouri and wish her the best of luck. Finding a replacement will be tough with the level of care she provided.

Information Nadia K. would like to know about your pet

I will ask you several questions before sitting your pet. Just basic questions like: what time are they fed, when do they go on walks, do they have separation anxiety, etc.

I love taking dogs on walks around their neighborhood but with the owners approval I will happily take your dog to a near by dog park or human park for your dog to enjoy new activities and smells.
