My name is Myrna. I just recently lost my 16year old female Bichon Frise named Jolie. She had a sister also 15 y/o that passed away last year...My husband and I are sad to have lost them but we are happy to have some of the sweetest dog clients anyone could ask for. We currently have no pets living in our home, but that can change and I ask that you confirm with me at the time of your enquirer. I offer a safe environment where your dogs individual needs are considered. I am caring and affectionate with your dog and like to sit and cuddle with them on the sofa. I understand that some may need extra attention when they first come. I understand that some will need some space. Dogs take a little while to adjust to a new environment and this is something that I acknowledge within reason. I cannot accept dogs that cannot be around other dogs or children; dogs that become extremely stressed when out of their normal environment; or dogs that can become aggressive. I do want to know of any individual needs, personality, and walking and feeding schedules. I'm home most of the time except to run errands or other. Please note: on Sundays my husband and I are out just about 4 hours in the morning.... I usually take the dogs out for a walk twice a day with potty breaks in between. If your dog needs a diaper (for urine incontinence) or a male wrap (for marking), please let me know, and please bring a supply. Please bring their doggy bed, food, snacks toys and anything else they need. Your dog is welcome on our furniture and will be able to cuddle on the sofa, and run freely about the house during the day. The dogs bedding are accommodated in my bedroom. My dog guests sleep in their doggy beds... but I do make some exceptions....Lets have a conversation about sleeping accommodations. I have a yard but no fence, so I always take them out on a leash. Lastly, its important that we all do the best we can for our furry children. Lets work together to make their stay as pleasant and as safe as possible.. (We live near a wooded area and it's tick season ..it's advisable that you treat your dog(s) every month.) added 4/25/17.
