Pet care experience
As an animal lover with many years experience of dog ownership, I am currently dogless and would love to welcome your dog into our home while you are busy or away. Your dog will be treated as part of our family and will get excellent care, snuggles and playtime. My two children, ages 7 & 11, love animals and are gentle and respectful of dogs. We would love to hang out with your dog in our home and have wonderful furry company as we explore the neighbourhood. We look forward to having your dog be a temporary member of our family!

Our old boy Ranger has stayed with Myfanwy on numerous occasions and was always excited for his visits because he was treated like a king. He was truly at home there with endless playtime outside, lots of nature walks, and LOTS of attention. After a health issue popped up with Ranger the day before we were leaving on our vacation we called Myfanwy to let her know and she had no problem with the medication that had to be administered, and we were completely at ease leaving him. She sends out lots of pictures and updates throughout the stay as well. Myfanwy has since moved out of our area but still checks up on our Ranger. You don’t need to look at another single dog sitter, you have found the best hands down.
When your pet comes home wagging her tail - the body language says it all.. I am over whelmed with the care, fun and love she experienced while in Myfanwy's care, assisted by her two lovely children which added to Darby's total joy in her stay.. It was a package made in doggie heaven and we already have bookings for future stays....
My dog was really happy and comfortable here and she sent lots of photos to keep me updated :)

We live in the main floor apartment of a house so we request that your dog be familiar and comfortable with that sort of living arrangement. For example, if your dog wants to constantly be running around a fenced backyard or is a big barker this is unfortunately not a good fit. Dogs are welcome to be part of our family, including on the couch and in beds if desired. To ensure a family feel for us and your dog I usually only accept one client at a time. If you have more than one dog in your family though please contact me so that I can adjust my settings to welcome both/all your furry loved ones into our home. We may also be available to pet sit in your home.

For your pet's comfort and safety, and our own, we do request that your dog be comfortable around children (with adult supervision of course). We therefore encourage a quick meet and greet to ensure that we are a good fit for each other (it also gives you an opportunity to meet us). We can also discuss any special needs your dog may have. This can be done virtually during COVID.
A typical day
Inside playtime, endless snuggles and affection, and neighbourhood walks will all be part of your dog’s experience with us. We regularly walk to Fisher Park and along the Byron pathway.

Availability
My kids, who are here half-time, are in school and I am studying from home. I have flexibility in my day and in my week to care for furry friends. I am available for occasional neighbourhood dog walking (not daily).
