Rover is an online marketplace for pet care services, between hobbyists or full timers like me, it's a good way to promote ourselves as sitters where you can easily choose the best pet care provider for your needs. Services vary between sitters so to start, here's what I offer: • Dog Walking: 30 to 60 mins. This is where I come to your house, set up your dog or collect to take out, go for a walk, complex park, potty, take pictures, and return your dog with an update. This includes taking off their walk gear if necessary and making sure they have fresh water and are comfortable before I leave. • Drop in Visits: 30 to 60 mins. This includes me dropping in on your pet at your house, spending time with, pets, cuddles, pictures, feeding, watering, may include walks and/or any medications if necessary. This is also an ideal service to select if you're seeking pet care for some of those more non-traditional animals past cats & dogs. (For animals other than cats and dogs, please choose 'Cat' anyway in your request & we can modify from there!) • Part-Time House-sitting: 1 - 8hrs • Full-time House-sitting: 9-24hrs This one is where I stay at your house & spend the time requested with your pets while you are away. This service is great for animals who need more round the clock care, or pet parents who are especially nervous leaving their companions home alone for extended periods of time, ideal for seniors, puppies, or pets on meds. • This booking includes me staying overnight, but is not a requirement & can be set as hours with price adjustments. • Additional rates may apply if your pet requires me to stay 100% of the time/cannot be left alone for at least an hour. • I do not offer Boarding, Doggy Day Care, Training or Full Groomings at this time. (I can do sanitary trims, basic baths, and nails on select dogs & cats for an additional rate, as well as teach leash manners if your canine buddy might benefit.🐾) - So who am I? Someone whose always been really passionate about animals, insects, and nature her whole life. My first word was 'Bird' and I grew up with a black lab who would let me grab onto his fur when i was first learning how to walk, as well as a big orange coon cat who would let me carry him around the house as soon as I could pick him up. Animals have been my best friends growing up, into my teenage years and still as an adult, animals are definitely my kind of people. Animals have been something I've consistently been able to pour myself into with endless opportunities to learn about and care for and I did that a lot my whole life without ever feeling a real connection to many animal related career options until this job was recommended to me through family after I was dealing with the loss of my childhood dog of 16 years. I thought this would end up being a little side thing I picked up to help heal my heart through caring for other people's pets and it turned into a full time job that I couldn't be happier with since it ended up doing that and a whole lot more to where I will be extending my services to training in the near future. It's a really rewarding job to be able to help out in the community and make the connections I do within family packs and bring a sense of relief to you knowing your pet is in good hands. I am very involved in my stay with your pets & update thoroughly since that's what I would want to ease any anxiety, especially if you've never used a sitter before ❤️ I'm very good with herding breeds in particular but I can and do watch any breeds without restriction, as well as have experience with aggression or fear related behavior. I can watch dogs breeds A to Z and most other animals from personal experience except large livestock at the moment or any illegal exotics. If your pet has any special requirements, please be thorough so I am able to do my best for you both. This is my full time job and my prices reflect that and my care, they may be adjusted accordingly based on other factors like distance, number of animals, behavior, medication administration, vet visits, and more. If my prices don't work for you feel free to let me know your budget and we might be able to find something that does. Lastly, tipping is fantastic, though absolutely, never a requirement or expected. But just for reference, Rover takes 20% of all sitters payouts Ex. If youre paying your sitter $100 for a full time housesit, your sitter gets $80.
