Mya is my nickname, but Journey is my legal name. My schedule is usually very open. On days when I am dog-sitting, I will make sure my schedule is clear so I can stay with your dog all day. There is a park very close to my house where I can take your dog on long walks or let him/her roam free in the dog park. If you have a timid dog or a dog who's a couch potato, I also have a gated porch outside of my house where we can sit outside just to get some fresh air. I have a dog of my own. She's an English Cocker Spaniel named Chloe - almost 3 Y.O. She's usually very shy when meeting other dogs but I have seen her adjust pretty quickly. Part of the reason I'm dog-sitting is so Chloe will have chances to interact with other dogs. Since I have experience with my own timid dog, I know how to respect other skittish dogs' space and gradually assure them that they are safe. I give dogs REAL food as snacks. Fruit, unseasoned chicken, veggies, peanut butter, applesauce, etc. If your dog is on a diet, let me know. If you'd like to do a meet-and-greet with me and/or my dog, that can be arranged. For dog boarding, ideally, you can drop your dog off at my house. However, pick-ups may be able to be arranged on a case-by-case basis.
