Hi there! I work from home with my two huskies, and the three of us (as well as my husband, Paul, when he's home, and our daughter Ada) would love to host your pups! My home is dog proof (since I already have two of my own, as well as an incredibly curious and mobile toddler), and is complete with a fenced-in back yard and two great play mates. I've been around animals my entire life. I grew up on a farm in the Midwest, my first job was at a local pet food & supply store, and I volunteered at a local rescue. I love being around animals and understand that each one is so different and comes with their individual needs. Since I'm home all day, your dogs can either hang out inside with me or outside in the back yard (supervised, of course). We've got a great patio that's perfect for sunbathing, which is something my dogs love to do! My girls have lots of toys they're happy to share, and we have an open layout so there's plenty of room for fun activities. My huskies, Sasha (8 years) and Stella (9.5 years), are very social and love to make new friends. We require a meet and greet before you book with us, to make sure your fur baby gets along with our babies - fur and human :) Paul and I also love to hike and venture out, so if you're comfortable we would love to include your pup on our adventures! There are some great dog-friendly patios in Castle Rock, and we've also found several dog-friendly hikes that our pups would love to share with your dog! If your pup is staying with us, we're happy to discuss best sleeping accommodations, any other special needs, and walks happen when my husband is home so each pup gets the attention he or she needs during our on-leash outdoor adventures. She is very sweet and gets along with other dogs, but she is very high energy. If your dog gets overwhelmed with other high-energy dogs, we may not be a great fit for you.
