Pet care experience
In my life, I have own several dogs, and I have also pet sit for many years as well, from little 5 pound dogs to dogs bigger than me. I have experience giving oral medicine to dogs, I have always found it most comfortable to give medicine in a treat (we still think they don't know what is in the food, but do they?). I love going outside and playing with dogs. They sit around in a house a lot while we are gone and they deserve some good play time TLC while we are around. Something I have gotten good at over the years is dog messages, I have never gotten it down to a science, but taking the time to rub a dog and give them some physical love and attention shows you care. I also love to go outside and run around with dogs, playing tag and just getting at their level to play is not only fun for them (of course the main reason) but also for me, it is such a fun bonding time to have.

Moriah did a wonderful job of taking care of our 12 year old border collie Daisy. We adopted Daisy when she was 6 years and she came with a few quirks. Moriah met all the challenges associated with her needs including giving morning and evening medications. Prior to the sit Moriah went on a short hike with us to learn how Daisy is on a leash and during the sit took her out. Moriah communicated with us regularly and sent pictures. We highly recommend her for taking care of your fur baby.
Moriah was a great communicator and was very attentive to our two dogs when she watched them at our house over the weekend.
Moriah was great with our two boys! They didn't seem to miss us at all when we were out of town and that's the result I was hoping for. Highly recommended.
Moriah was great as a dog sitter for my older Jack Russell. She lived next door and took great care of him while I was out of town for feedings, bathroom breaks, and play time.

I love getting to know animals, they have such a personality, knowing what they like and dislike, if they are protective of certain things, or certain behaviors that are unique to them I would love to know. I do not have a breed preference; there hasn't been a dog that I haven't liked yet!
A typical day
When working with dogs, I love to take the dog around the neighborhood to explore the area, I do love dog parks as well, and if that is something that the dog owner would like, I am comfortable with figuring out local dog parks to go to. Playing fetch, treat kongs, training exercises and many other activities have been good pass times that I have done in the past while watching dogs.
