Pet care experience
I am the founder of Happy Tails Animal Rescue. We are a non profit organization, focusing on saving blind and deaf dogs. *my main focus currently is house sitting but I am open to boarding as well. I have a few spots available for new house sitting clients. I have experience with chickens, donkeys, horses, rabbits and of course dogs and cats. My husband and I have been fostering dogs for over seven years. Our dogs are very friendly and are familiar with new dogs coming into their environment. I run the rescue from home, so I am home very often. I Rover on the side to help my husband with the bills as I do not take a salary with HTAR. By booking with me you’re helping us save more lives! My pup had so much fun with Moria and her pack! She sent pictures and kept me updated everyday and was so kind. My pup came home happy and exhausted! She had a wonderful time.

I have a large fenced in yard. My dogs are dog friendly with new dogs, we foster so they have new dogs over often! We have three small dogs and three medium dogs, two of which are special needs.

A typical day
Dogs need mental enrichment and physical exercise daily. We utilize enrichment toys such as puzzles, kong balls, etc. We often use licking mats with peanut butter / dog friendly fruits, they love them! Licking calms a dog and reduces anxiety. We go to Solo’s Park & Pub often and go on walks at Mitch and Hafer Park in Edmond.

I’m home with my dogs the majority of the time. I work remotely, so my schedule is flexible for my clients and their dogs, cats, horses etc.
