Pet care experience
I love my dogs more than anything and am happy to share that care and love for other dogs—I know how important it is to have your furry friends getting the best care while you’re away. I have cared for dogs for friends and family for years and love having regular opportunities to care for other pups! My husband and I foster dogs through a local rescue while having a dog of our own, so our home and family is used to welcoming new dogs for a visit! I have experience with senior dogs, puppies, shy dogs, and working on training, food aggression, giving medication, and leash walking. I also am a professional dog cuddler. I am ready to provide a home away from home for your dog! I work from home for the majority of the week, in the office 1-2 days. My husband is at home with our infant son during the day. We have a large fenced-in back yard with lots of grass for running and trees for squirrel hunting. We have one dog of our own - a husky mix - who loves having help chasing squirrels in the yard or to share the sofa with.

Morgan and Zack did a wonderful job with our girl, Ella. She was in great hands for the weekend and they went above and beyond. They have a wonderful home and they were super responsive and very responsible. I would be happy to have Ella stay with them again, anytime!
Thank you so much to Zack and Morgan for watching Sadie. Sadie came back home so relaxed and happy. Morgan and Zack sent daily updates to me while I was away and were very responsive to any and all questions I had leading up to Sadie’s stay. I’m so happy she was in great hands!
Morgan and Zach did a great job taking care of Goose and Maverick! The boys had a great time and were clearly well loved. I would highly recommend them for your furry family members.

We have a fully fenced back yard and love to go on walks (weather permitting) for safe space and activity. Our husky is a bit older, so if she’s not in the mood to play, we will be the playmate your dog needs! We have plenty of experience with dogs of various social skills with our years of fostering, so we are always focused on watching interactions with our dogs, our child, and the environment. We give dogs separate space to eat, monitor play time and outdoor time, and can crate for sleeping time if that’s what is most comfortable for your dog.

We are open to caring for dogs with special needs. We have cared for dogs that required medications and limited activity, and our previous dog had a neurological condition that we helped treat, so we have good experience. We ask that any special needs are brought to us ahead of time. We also want to know ahead of time about any behaviors that could affect our household (I.e. leash aggression, resource guarding).
A typical day
If the weather permits, we will be on walks, hanging out in the back yard, and playing! If it’s raining/snowing/extreme heat then we’ll play inside. Our son giggles watching dogs play fetch or tug-of-war, so your pup will have an audience for indoor play. For walks, we have a lot of great routes we take throughout the neighborhood based on how long we want to be out, and we love going through Homeward Hills park for extra smells.

Availability
I work full time during the week but work from home three days. My husband is home with our infant son during the week. There’s always a dog-loving adult here to care for your pup!
