I have a vast history in the pet industry. Growing up I had plenty of hands-on experience with a variety of animals. I have owned ducks, rabbits, turtles, and of course dogs and cats. I was taught responsibility from a very young age and was expected to help take care of all of our pets. I remember my first dog, he was a cute little German Sheperd named Rex. Since then I have had a variety of pups, labradors, silky terriers, boxers and pitties. I have a special place in my heart for dogs. They are truly such a gift in this world. As I got older, I began dog sitting for neighbors and family friends. I have provided a variety of services. I have simply checked on clients' fur babies while they are out of town and I have also stayed overnight to provide care. During daily check-in's I ensure that they have enough food and water as well as physical exercise and a potty break. During overnight care, I have often provided the full package, including making sure they are bathed before their owner returns home. For the past 4 years I have volunteered at the Dallas based pitbull rescue know as The Love Pit. I have experience working with dogs needing important medical attention, reactive dogs, and pups of all sizes. I have volunteered many hours and am passionate about giving dogs the best life ever. Recently in the past year, I have taken the time to truly learn more about dog behavior and training. I have shadowed a professional trainer and love getting to share what I have learned with other dog owners!
