Pet care experience
I have taken care of others' dogs and cats for the last 5 years. It is a joy to care for them and give their owner peace of mind while they are away from their pet(s). I let them out, take them for walks, give them their medicine (if they have any) and simply love on them. I will care for dogs as well as cats.

I keep a close eye on pets when I'm watching over them. If there is a fenced yard I will let them out, and will pick up after them/dipose of their waste. If there is not a fenced yard I keep the animal on a leash and walk him/her around to go potty. When walking the dog I will always keep them on a leash, and whenever pertinent keep a distance from other dogs unless they do well with other dogs. I stick to the sidewalk and safer areas when it comes to their walks. In the home I pick up after myself and make sure not to leave food or other items lying around that could cause them harm.

A typical day
I think it's important to get animals out and physically active at least once a day. I will take them to the nearby park for walks, and let them smell around and enjoy exploring outside with them.

Availability
My work day is 8.5 hours. I feed and let the animal out before and after work. I do not check on them midday. I feed/walk most dogs before I leave for work (also dependent on owner preference). Following work let them out and feed them. I typically do not bring them around other animals.
