Pet care experience
The happiness of a pet is a top priority of mine. I always try to think of things from the pet's perspective. For example, meeting a stranger can be scary. So when I get the chance to meet a new animal, I extend my hand palm up for them to sniff at, then I squat down so that I am on their level, looking more approachable and less intimidating. I want pets to feel safe and that they can trust me as soon as possible. A pet's safety and, again, their happiness are things I greatly value. If the pet is comfortable, then so am I. I am very perceptive and can tell when an animal is feeling off and vice versa. Paying close attention to a pet is one of my fortes.

Morgan helped watch our 2 cats and dog when we went out of town for a long weekend. She is a very kind soul and we trusted her to watch our babies. We are very selective of who we ask to watch our pets. She took care of them with no issues and handled everything so we could enjoy our vacation. We know that she played and cuddled them all weekend. We would definitely use Morgan again if we can't take our babies with us!
I have firsthand knowledge of Morgan Wenerick's care for pets, specifically, both cats and dogs. Morgan is the type of person who instantly connects with animals. They immediately sense her kind and caring nature. That being said, Morgan is also exceptionally detail-oriented and will care for your pet in exactly the manner needed. Morgan is responsible to a fault. She is a young woman with compassion for all creatures but also in possession of a work ethic that makes her the envy of anyone else.
Morgan was a wonderful caregiver to our two dogs when she watched them for us while we were on vacation. Morgan went out of her way to stay at our house and give all the extra love and attention to our high matinence pups. She was easy to get in contact with when we asked for updates and sent us lots of pictures. She was amazing with our pups, and I would recommend her to anyone!

My partner and I live in an apartment that has a fenced-in dog park on the complex's property. There are grassy areas surrounding the buildings good for when your pet needs to go to the bathroom, and there's also a neighborhood to the immediate left of our apartment building that is perfect for walks. We've taken many a walk throughout that area, and it feels safe as well as spacious - the sidewalks are pretty wide! As far as taking care of a pet in a client's home, I am aware that I am in someone else's space, and I take this factor just as seriously as caring for another person's pet. I promise that I am extremely respectful and careful when in someone else's home.

Also let me know if you want me to steer clear of other dogs while on walks / in the dog park or if it's okay if they interact with one another.
A typical day
I'd love to take your dog for however long a walk that they would like. We can run around and play in the little dog park located right next to my apartment complex, as well as stay in and snuggle up for cuddles on my couch or bed.

Availability
I'm a freelancer/independent contractor, so I get to personally plan my schedule when it comes to work; which means that I can prioritize taking care of animals first. Because I choose when to work outside of Rover, my availability is pretty open. I'm immensely lucky to be able to work with such a flexible schedule on my own, but if I had to choose a time that I am the most open during, it would be the daytime.
