Growing up surrounded by animals, I essentially ran a miniature farm in my Childhood Florida home. I cared for rabbits, guinea pigs, fish, dogs, cats, and various other creatures throughout my childhood, learning many valuable things about their care and lifestyles. I assisted neighbors in raising boxer puppies, earned my Veterinary Assistants Certification in high school, and pursued further veterinary technician training in college, but only completed a semesters worth of credits. Currently, I'm raising two puppies, one of which is my mother's, alongside her 8-year-old senior "Guppy puppy”. My commitment to animal welfare shines through my volunteer efforts at animal shelters and completion of observation hours at veterinary clinics, and I learned so much from it. I am constantly expanding my education with animal welfare courses, and am certified in Animal First Aid and CPR, Have Experience with Senior Dogs, and know how to administer Oral and Injectable Medications.
