Pet care experience
I love animals of all shapes and sizes. I grew up frequenting my grandparents' farm with chickens, llamas, goats, horses, and sheep. In my adult life, I've helped rehabilitate the separation anxiety my 90lb rescue pitbull Princess had. She has a companion kitten named Calypso. They get along beautifully! I respect your pet-family's routine and look forward to becoming a regular part of your lives. I am hyper aware of allergies, special diets, and religious obligations like keeping Kosher. I am happy to work with blended families, people who look like me, and members of the LGBTQ+ community.

I grew up in Ann Arbor, and love the city parks and trails near the Huron River. There is a dog park nearby that I take Princess to regularly on Platt Road. She is very social and loveable. I want to have fun with your dog and I enjoy being active. I am open to walking in your neighborhood, going for a light jog, or a moderate hike 2-4 miles. I have reliable transportation, a 2015 Jeep that I can transport your beloved pet in.

I do not discriminate with dog breeds. I also believe that every dog is inherently good, but upfront I need to know about any quirks or behaviors that need work/training. Please be honest if your dog isn't social, it is okay to be an introvert! It is okay for your dog to only like people. Please let me know about any resource guarding. I do not want to put your pet's safety in jeopardy if they are prone to being territorial or fighting. It is not a deal breaker if you have a dog with special needs. Please communicate them to me.
A typical day
I have a smart phone, so I am happy to give live updates of what adventures we go on! This also helps me find the best area parks or trails. I carry a doggy bag packed with Resolve, Water, towels, and poop bags. I am fine with a dog getting messy if you are, I am happy to give a bath if a mud puddle is too much of a temptation! My dog goes anywhere that is dog friendly. I am happy to treat your pup to some ice cream, or a trip to Petco. I have a 2015 Jeep that is safe and reliable.

Availability
I work from home, but have a flexible schedule that allows for my availability Monday-Friday until 7pm. I am open to appointments of all varieties. I can be available regularly, or on an as needed basis. I can respond quickly if you have an emergency, or urgent reason for leaving town.
