Pet care experience
I am a pre-veterinary student who has over 10 years of experience with pet-sitting a variety of animals ranging from large to small, sick and healthy, dogs, cats, livestock, and horses. I started caring for clients pets, family friends, and neighbors in high school. As a little side hustle I continued through college while working for a large and small animal vet clinic. I do work a regular 8-5 corporate job but I have a ton of flexibility and would love to care for your fur baby while I am working through veterinary school applications! I am skilled with reactive dogs, puppies, older dogs and cats, any medical care for most animals except exotics. I am passionate about fitness and would love to take your pet on a long walk during a busy workday, care for them while you are gone and love them like my own! I do have a German Shepherd who is 3 years old, neutered, trained, fully up to date on vaccinations and vet care if you want to have a playmate for your pet. Otherwise, I am happy to leave him at home and give my sole attention to your furbaby!

I only provide pet sitting in the clients home, along with check ups, potty breaks, and dog walking. But I will typically ask the owner if their pet has a routine and abide by that routine so their animal can be as comfortable as possible. Any food, treats, toys, walking areas, dog parks, and medications I cover and will get written or typed instructions. I am totally okay with spending the day with your pet and leaving them at night if that is more comfortable or staying with them 24/7! Before I pet sit, I will do an intro meeting 3 days before hand (or more) so the pet will understand who I am and be comfortable with me in the house. If the owner/pet isn't comfortable with me then this will allow them enough time to cancel and book another individual so they are not charged any fees. But I can assure you that your pet will be very spoiled with treats and love the whole time I am with them!

It’s always important to me to know a little bit about your animals before hand especially if they have special needs, highly reactive, or any diet or medication. So I can structure my day and activities around their needs.
A typical day
I love to play fetch, work with high drive dogs, go on long or short walks, I have a variety of games and puzzle toys along with chew toys and techniques to help dogs get their stimulation and energy out! Some of my favorite places to take my dog and the dogs I pet sit are to the coffee shops for a pup cup, a favorite dog park near my house that is empty nearly all the time, and I love taking them hiking to dog friendly places and to the river near my house!

Availability
I am currently employed and work in office from 8-4pm but I work about 10minutes away from my home, so I am able to have a fairly flexible schedule with drop ins if they are local to me! Weekends when I am not traveling I am home and typically available all day.
