Information Morgan J. would like to know about your pet

Before accepting any client, I always schedule a complimentary Meet and Greet so that I see the pet's environment, gather specific information such as their Vet on Call, feeding and sleeping arrangements, any medications needed or if they have known allergies or anxiety/behavior issues. The "Client Information Sheet" is then completed and returned. Getting the pets to see me beforehand in their own environment is important and makes for a less stressful stay.

A typical day

WALKS: * I will use the suggested path given by the client in the surrounding area. * Harnesses are preferred rather than just leash and collar. I have several sizes for loan. * Poop bags are kept handy to keep the community clean. * Walk time should be enjoyable, fun and relaxing and never stressful. * Being mindful of outside temperatures will always be considered. * Return from walks is important for rehydration especially during Texas summers. PLAY TIME: * A combination of both indoor and outdoor play directed by the owner's guidance * Use of the pet's favorite toys and possibly introduction of a new toy * Playtime is an important part of the day. * It is vital, especially in younger dogs, to release energy before returning to crates or inside. PET SITTING/ DROP IN VISITS: When you're away, I'm there for you. * Maintaining your pet's schedule as close as possible helps minimize their anxiety and stress. * I offer kongs with pumpkin and peanut butter * Leaving background music on reduces stress somewhat * Preparing for firework holidays and thunderstorms if your pup has known anxiety is vital. The more I know, the better I can make it more fun, enjoyable and stress free for your pet while you are away. WHAT'S INCLUDED in the OVERNIGHT FEE: * Includes (4) extended drop in visits of and hour and half * Walk Included * Pictures and updates sent * Mailbox check and package delivery check * Garbage can take out and pick up * Light plant watering * Porch lights on and off dusk to dawn * Light floor sweep before leaving

Pet care experience

Hi there! I’m Morgan — the heart behind Oliver’s Paw Patrol 🐾 Sophisticated Pet Care. With years of hands-on experience as a Veterinary Technician and a CVA-1 license, I bring a strong medical background to every pet I care for. I’m also a proud graduate of the Karen Pryor Academy (KPA), where I specialized in positive reinforcement training — a science-based, effective approach to helping pets thrive. Since 2014, I’ve been proudly serving the Sienna community, caring for everything from playful pups and cuddly cats to slithery reptiles. With over 10 years in pet care, you can rest easy knowing your beloved companion is in loving, experienced hands.

Had to come home early because she was unable to provide adequate care. Morgan provided what can only be described as negligent care to our pets despite a formal meet and greet, a paid-walk before our trip, and an additional message detailing the agreed upon care our pets would be receiving. She charges almost 2x more than any other sitter in our area because of her qualifications as a vet tech and dog trainer which we were happy to pay so that our pets received the best care possible. Unfortunately, this could not have been further from the care that was given. To summarize, she was leaving them for very long periods of time (despite agreeing to a maximum amount of time), she was not communicating with us at all (sent every call straight to voicemail, not responding to text messages, not letting us know what her schedule was so that we could send in extra help, etc.), only took them on one SIX minute walk, and overall treating the booking as if it was drop-in visits rather than house sitting. I am in awe of the fact that someone who is a pet owner, pet sitter, dog walker, vet tech, and someone that works at a boarding facility would think that this level of care was at all acceptable. It has since become obvious to me that most of her reviews are posted within a 3-day period quite a few years ago, which leads me to believe that they are fake reviews. Beware of this sitter.

Received several texts from my neighbors in the morning asking if we were ok because our dog was outside crying all night. Morgan accidentally left out one of our dogs overnight until the next visit in the morning. Thankfully he is ok and our neighbors were understanding, but definitely concerning.
