I have always had a dog or two running around, and taking my dogs for a 30 minute walk every single day, rain or shine, has become my favorite way to start the day. I'm in college, and I moved into an apartment so I had to let my parents take my golden retriever home. I used to put so much time and effort into my dog Roxy, that not having her anymore has left a hole in my life that I think walking and playing with dogs can help fill. Another reason I want to be a dog walker/sitter is being able to see how much happiness a dog feels when they have proper exercise and attention. It makes me happy to see that.
