I have been a dog lover since I was born and have taken care of them since then. I worked at a doggie daycare in Denver, CO in my early 20's, where I learned so much about dogs and training them. I also learned about the many different dog breeds and their characters. Dogs also have the wolf pack mentality and by researching this, it has helped me to understand how dogs think and to connect with them on their level. I'm also an expert on kennel/crate training. I adopted my very first dog of my own at that time and trained him all on my own. A black lab named Christian. He was my best friend and I took him EVERYWHERE with me. I loved him with all of my heart. He passed away a few years ago due to old age. Since then, my family and I (husband and daughter) adopted our little Dorkie named Lilly. She is our little sweetheart and I've trained her as well. I also have a puppy "niece" who I take care of when my brother has guard duty. Needless to say, I'm all about dogs and I love taking care of them. My daughter and I also volunteer at our local animal shelter.
