Pet care experience
I grew up on a farm and have taken care of a wide variety of animals since I was 6 years old. I had a lot of experience with larger dogs growing up but have had the pleasure of raising a chihuahua from a puppy in my adult years! I also have experience working with elderly pups. I am a big fan of long walks myself and believe that exercise is incredibly important for an animals health.

I currently have a 9 year old male chihuahua that gets along well with other dogs. My main goal on Rover is to be a dog walker or to check on pups at their home. I am very committed to safely walking dogs because there can be risk involved. I will always treat your pet the way I would want my pet to be treated. I recognize that every dog is unique and have different needs.

It’s important for me to know how your dog reacts to other dogs. Typically I don’t see “saying hi” with other peoples dogs as worth the risk. You just never know what could happen. I would want to know if your dog has any preexisting injuries or health issues. I would also like to know if your dog has any over sensitivity to heat or cold. And of course, what kind of treats and pets they like.
A typical day
I would take the pups for walks around the neighborhood, dog parks (if safe to do so), play with tugs and toys, and of course scratches and cuddles.
