Pet care experience
I have lived with larger dogs (golden retrievers, labs, and rescue mixes) my entire life and dog sat for multiple neighbors. All of my dogs have lived into their senior years and I have ample experience during dog walks for different social interactions between pups. I also love cats and have had the experience of raising a kitten over the last year. I am gentle, warm, and friendly to all animals and see walks/drop-in care as an opportunity for them to socialize and feel loved if their owners are busy. I can feed, walk, bathe, or even just play with your pets. Any type of time with them will be valued to the fullest.

I am primarily looking for the opportunity to help with dog walking or drop-in pet care. I will be comfortable feeding, bathing, playing with, or simply checking in on the pets (whatever the Pet Parent feels comfortable with). I am experienced with senior dog care and have no problem assisting with medication management/scheduled administration of meds if that is necessary.

I would like to know a dog's socialization capacity with other dogs and how they tend to interact with other dogs/people before taking them on walks. I would also like to know any special traits of the dogs the Pet Parents find valuable to share.
A typical day
Go on walks, take them to a dog park their Pet Parent approves of for off-leash run around time, play fetch, or just explore different trails around the area! I love Forest Park area and Terwilliger/Tryon Creek trails for pups. Really any activity that gives the dog a chance to smell and see some new things!

Availability
I have a lot of availability in the next few months as I will be primarily spending my time studying for a licensing exam. This studying can take place at any time of day and I am able to mold my schedule accordingly. I have flexible hours Tuesday-Friday and have no limitations in transportation to/from. I am an early riser and prefer to have all work-related things completed by 3pm, but could make some exceptions for evening walks. All I ask is you give me 2-days notice if you need to cancel a service.
