I grew up in a rural community in Alberta. In this community I interacted with various animals and learned to read their personal body language. I absolutely love dogs and just got my own dog recently. His name is Charlie and is very sociable. My family also had a dog when I was growing up. These two have given me the most direct experience of training. I have also pet sat throughout the years. I aways enjoy it all and have a blast meeting the new animals and seeing their personalities. When working with animals I believe that trust and respect is a big thing. Meaning that if you respect the dog and their wishes they will also respect you when you ask them to do things. This I find is a very caring and kind way to take care of the animals.
