Pet care experience
My life has revolved around animals from the beginning. My parents are fosters for Chesapeake Bay Retriever Relief & Rescue. I was in Charles County 4-H from the time I was 8 until I aged out at 18 with my Cavalier King Charles Spaniel, Masie and we won multiple obedience competitions. I trained my own service dog at 15, a Chessie named Fish, who is now retired at 8. In 2020 I graduated from the College of Southern Maryland’s Vet Assistant Program which was run by 2 veterinarians. THE DOGS IN MY HOME: Bongo is a 18 month old male Great Dane who is already showing promise as my next service dog. Orca, my 14 month old, is a Boston Terrier crossed with a Miniature Australian Shepherd who is learning to catch Disc/Frisbees as I also learn to throw them. MY OTHER ANIMALS: I have 2 bunnies, a cat, 5 parrots, and a pet pig! They all live next door to me at my parents house along with Fish and Masie because my parents love them too much for me to have them live with me! WORKING EXPERIENCE: In 2021 I worked with Custom Canine Design where I studied under Andi in both leatherwork and dog training. From August of 2022 until April of 2023 I helped my friend Lauren train dogs with her boarding business Tried and True Train and Stay.
Reviews
Morgan B did a great job taking care of my dog Spock while i was away!
So grateful for Morgan. I have 3 shepherds, two are relatively calm but my third is a handful and very slow to warm. I appreciated that Morgan came to visit a few days before my requested dates to ensure comfort and safety. Although my skittish dog was very anxious at the first meet, she warmed up during the second and allowed Morgan to be with and walk her solo thereafter. I am so happy to have been able to go on my short getaway and look forward to having Morgan as a regular for my pups. Thanks again!
Morgan was fantastic. Kept us updated with messages and pictures. Very attentive to their needs and responsive to our texts. Nice to have trustworthy sitters in our house.
Morgan has been great at taking care of Amber and Scarlet. Amber is slow to warm up to strangers but Morgan has done a great job making them feel more comfortable and I know they will become fast friends. I would recommend him to anyone who needs a dog sitter or walker.

I have my Great Dane, Bongo, as well as my Boston Terrier mix, Orca, providing friendly playmates for dogs of all sizes. I have multiple crates I can utilize if necessary. I can train your dogs or watch your cats. I do not have a fence but I walk each dog multiple times a day and often hike in the woods near my house. I feel pretty prepared for anything so if you want me to do it, I’ll try my best!

Information Morgan B. would like to know about your pet
I must know if the dog has same sex aggression (male dogs not liking other male dogs, etc), if the dog is female and not spayed I must know when her last heat cycle was (as I do have an un neutered male dog in my house) and I MUST know if the dog is crate trained.
A typical day
If the dog is at my home, we can go on beautiful hikes in my “backyard” aka the woods. A mile long walk leads to the Nanjemoy river. If a dog is boarding on either a Monday, Tuesday or Thursday then I wake up extra early to let everyone out before I head to Laplata to go to work at Bark Of The Town as a dog groomer’s assistant. I am never gone for more than 8 hours on those days.

Availability
IMPORTANT: because of my schedule, I cannot accept drop ins or dog walks between 6am-3pm on MONDAY, TUESDAYS, OR THURSDAYS. Rover will not allow me to actually set these parameters. If you request for drop ins or dog walks on those days/times they will be rejected! I work part time as a Dog Grooming Assistant at Bark Of The Town in Laplata, Maryland. I work Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday from 8am-roughly 2pm (whenever the last dog is done! I’ve gotten off at 3 and I’ve gotten off at 12). I can have dogs at my house on those days as long as they can be crated and will be fine being alone for 8 hours.
