Pet care experience
My life has revolved around animals from the beginning. My parents are fosters for Chesapeake Bay Retriever Relief & Rescue. I was in Charles County 4-H from the time I was 8 until I aged out at 18 with my Cavalier King Charles Spaniel, Masie and we won multiple obedience competitions. I trained my own service dog at 15, a Chessie named Fish, who is now retired at 8. In 2020 I graduated from the College of Southern Maryland’s Vet Assistant Program which was run by 2 veterinarians. REQUIRED INFORMATION: All pets must have current rabies vaccinations for all services. I will want to see some proof of this BEFORE meeting the pets. I am also requiring meet and greets for all new clients, this allows the animals to feel much more comfortable around me and I can learn my responsibilities as each visit is different! THE DOGS IN MY HOME: Bongo is a 2.5 year old male Great Dane who I am actively training to become my next service dog and obedience champion. Orca, is a 2 year old Boston Terrier crossed with a Miniature Australian Shepherd who is learning to catch Disc/Frisbees as I also learn to throw them. Between the two they provide friendly playmates for dogs of all sizes! MY OTHER ANIMALS: I have 2 bunnies, a cat, 5 parrots, and a pet pig! They all live next door to me at my parents house along with Fish and Masie because my parents love them too much for me to have them live with me! WORKING EXPERIENCE: In 2021 I worked with Custom Canine Design where I studied under Andi in both leatherwork and dog training. From August of 2022 until April of 2023 I helped my friend Lauren train dogs with her boarding business Tried and True Train and Stay. From November 2022 to May 2024 I worked part time as a pet bather at Bark Of The Town in Laplata. As of May 2024 I am only doing Rover and other independent work to fit my school schedule, but plan to return to Bark Of The Town in the coming months.
Reviews

Morgan took great care of my dog during the 4th of July holiday. He made sure to meet us before hand and even offered to pick up our dog which help tremendously! Great dog sitter.

Morgan took great care of our two 100+ lb mastiffs and elderly 5lb cat over the July 4th weekend. The house was left in perfect shape. The animals were happy, minimally stressed even after a night of fireworks, and had zero complaints. Morgan kept us informed all throughout the booking of the animal's welfare and activities. A++, would book again.

Thank you!

We couldn't ask for a better person to board our dog. Morgan is the best, he sent us updates and photos through out the boarding week. Our dog was clearly loved and received excellent care. We highly recommend Morgan to any dog owner looking for a trustworthy and loving place for their furry friend!

I have multiple crates and entire rooms I can utilize if necessary to keep dogs separate when they are staying with me. I do not have a fence but I walk each dog staying with me multiple times a day and often hike in the private woods near my house.

Information Morgan B. would like to know about your pet
I require proof of rabies for ALL animals. I also need to know if the dog has any past aggression or reactivity issues, bite history, and if they have any food allergy issues. Additionally, if the pet is a a female dog who is intact (not spayed) and will be staying at my house, I need to know when her last heat cycle was.
A typical day
If the dog is at my home, we can go on beautiful hikes in my “backyard” aka the woods. A mile long walk leads to the Nanjemoy river with lots of things to sniff on the way! If the dog is more of a homebody we can relax and watch TV all day instead. I have multiple treat puzzles and a treasure trove of toys, treats and chews of all kinds of flavors in case the dogs have allergies.

Pet care is my entire life outside of the few math classes I am taking at the College of Southern Maryland. If I’m not walking a dog or playing with a puppy I am busy studying.
