Pet care experience
I have taken care of animals ever since I was a child. Over the years, I have had 4 cats and 2 family dogs. I am experienced in watching dogs and cats from young to senior. To this day, I've been caring for my senior pets by administering medications and light exercise, especially with my senior dog having a torn ACL and arthritis. I am comfortable watching different age ranges of animals. I have rescued kittens, watched my Aunts' young adult to senior dogs as well as my sister's energized puppy, Brownie! As my own pets are older and enjoy basking in the sun most of the day, I would like to gain more animal experience and take more walks while simultaneously lending a helping hand to you and your pet!

Ever since we were kids Mora has always had a soft spot and good care for all animals. It’s in her nature Mora is patience, kind and even has experience in training dogs. Nothing but a good heart and great company for your fluffy friends! Mora is bubbly, friendly and has high energy your flurr baby won’t be able to resist. I’ve personally seen her interact with not only dogs passing by but my own, Brownie a Yorkie mix, 3 years old. My dog loves her, lights up so much when Mora is around and she reciprocates the same vibe. If there’s anyone you don’t personally know that would be a great fit and take good care of your pet as if they were their own my recommendation would 100% be Mora.
Mora Dougherty is a friendly pal to have around for your cuddly family members!!! She will show your pet the love they deserve. Mora is great!!
Mora loves to walk our dog Fred, an elderly Labrador. She makes sure he is comfortable and does not overdo, even though he may want to! Mora is definitely mindful of limitations but knows he enjoys time on his walks!

Depending on the type of service you need, I can give walks, outdoor activities with a fenced-in yard or dog park, as well as comfort inside. Preferably, I would not house-sit at my own home as my senior dog has a torn ACL. We can discuss making arrangements within my home if your dog or cat is dog-and-cat-friendly.

A typical day
I’m here for whatever your pet needs and enjoys. I’ve enjoyed being more active this summer with going on walks and local parks with my own animals. With my senior dog, simply having frequent potty breaks, earning treats, and snuggling up on the couch is what he needs. Whatever you are looking for, I am glad to provide.
