Hey, I'm Moon! 🌙I'm a writer, artist & intuitive astrologer with *6 years of professional pet care experience, & I've had the pleasure of a whole lifetime spent in the close company of animals, who I believe have been my greatest teachers in all things life & magic. I believe that any of us who have/have had the privilege to love & be loved by an animal have also been in the presence of wise little magic-makers who transform our days, add light to our lives, & have so much to teach us about the healing properties of play & rest. I deeply love & respect all animals, & therefore take very seriously their care, & your trusting me with it! I pride myself on my ability to connect with animals across the personality spectrum through persistent patience, a deep & studied understanding of animal body language, engaged playtime, gentle touch, & an empathic sensitivity to their moods & needs. This empathic approach has won me the trust of many a fuzzy friend, & affords my clients the gift of peace of mind, knowing that their pets are in safe, loving hands & will be returned to them happy & well taken care of. From babies to seniors, basic hygiene & feeding, to bathing to meds administration, I'm able to handle it all with patience, love & ease. I also have a lot of experience caring for dogs with disabilities & special needs, & am thrilled to be able to accommodate for their utmost comfort. I often take care of my dog niece, who is blind, deaf, & in need of several meds per day, so I'm used to pilling, ear-dropping, or otherwise medicating on a regular basis! I'm super attentive on walks, & to ensure my attention & care is without distraction, I never walk more than 3 dogs at a time. I have a 6th sense for food & trash on the sidewalk, & will keep your dog from eating any surprise 'treats!' I keep it safe, fun, clean, & as long or as short as your dog requires. *I recently moved from NYC, where I worked for 6 years at Brooklyn Bow Wow, a doggy daycare/boarding/walking company. I did everything from daily walks to weeks-long stays in client's homes, & was able to learn a ton about animal behavior, socialization, & body language while there. During my years there, I walked dogs of all sizes, needs, & temperaments, & was able to create consistent relationships with many families who returned to me time & again.

Moon is an outstanding sitter! My dog, Suni, is a little quirky, but Moon understood him immediately, and he was so excited to see her again that he didn't even care when I left:). Great energy. Moon is a wonderful communicator & super responsive, provided lots of walks and lots of photos, and left me with no worries when it came to suni's intensive meds regimen. We will always choose to work with Moon when she's open!
Great experience booking Moon every time- walks, boarding—any experience we've had with both dogs has been top-notch. Left my pups so happy & sent the cutest pictures- definitely coming back for more, highly recommended!

I live with my partner & our 1.5 year old dog Ru, a social butterfly sweetheart of a dachsund-pitbull who is the playmate of dreams to any friendly dog he meets. If you were to book daycare or boarding with us, you get the bonus of knowing that your dog will not only be well-cared for & safe, but also well-socialized in the company of Ru, who is neutered, up to date on vaccines, & again, incredibly sweet. We have a large fenced-in yard for fun supervised playtime sessions, but the pups would spend the majority of time indoors hanging out with me, playing to their heart's desire, or just chilling. I'm home all day with your pup, & will always clear it with you should I get a request for a walk during your dog's stay with me, or if I need to leave them at home for whatever reason. If caring for your dog in your home, I respect all of your house rules, & can be trusted to leave the place better than I found it.

A typical day
When it comes to spending time with the dogs I care for, I'm all about tailoring activities to match their unique personalities & needs to create a joyful, enriching experience, whether that means a playful game of fetch in the yard, exploring local trails for a stimulating walk, or lounging around with belly rubs. I have a few favorite spots to bring dogs on special field trips when they stay with me. I'm lucky enough to live 5 minutes from the mountains, which gives me & an energetic adventure-pup easy access to plenty of incredible hikes; my favorites are Echo Mountain, the Cobb Estate Trail, & along the stream in the beautiful oasis that is Millard Falls. I love that the stream provides fun new stimuli for LA pups who may not have visited a river before! For those who prefer a more leisurely stroll, I love taking my dog to the Secret Garden, a beautiful little slice of Pasadena with plenty of scents to delight in and grasses to snuffle in. If your dog likes the park, I live nearby the Alice Dog Park in Pasadena, which my dog can't get enough of.
