Pet care experience
I grew up with dogs since birth and since I was kid have taken an active role in caring for them. Throughout high school it was my responsibility to feed and walk and care for our family dog. I’ve had many friends leave their dogs in my care. I’ve lived with dogs as an adult for the past 6 years as well with as a roommate who did a lot of pet sitting and fostering and I would help her out. I have fostered 3 dogs and one ended up a foster fail and is my beloved Border Collie mix Niko:) I have had Niko for 3 years now and I love the routine of caring for him and making sure he is happy:)

This was the first time we tried doggy daycare with our high energy rescue dog. She was in great care with Montana, who was calm, patient, kind, flexible, and confident throughout the process. Our dog was happy when picked up after the first day, and excited to see Montana and her dog Niko on the second day when we got there, clearly a good sign! Montana kept us updated with photos throughout. Highly recommend!

It would be great to know to dog’s special needs, energy level, and routine before pet sitting so I can make sure I am keeping your dog happy and comfortable! It would be great to know if your dog is good with other dogs too and if walking with my dog would be fun for your dog or if it would be best to have their own time with no other dogs.
A typical day
I love long walks especially when the weather is nice! I will definitely bring your dog(s) on long walks if they like that, and I enjoy indoor or outdoor play with dogs as well! They will definitely be entertained:)

I work at a school so I have summers off! This summer when I’m not out of town I’ll have a ton of time to care for your pet and take them on long walks:)
