Pet care experience
I have been around and caring for both dogs and cats since I was a young girl. My grandparents always had dogs and taught me the importance of properly caring for dogs, learning their mannerisms, and appreciating them as loving, protective animals. When I was younger, I grew up with a German Shepherd & Collie and later found my love for Boxers when I started fostering several boxers for Boxer Rescue. Add into the mix an iguana and various cats throughout the years and you could say we ran a small zoo! We currently have a 11 year old Boxer, so I am more than comfortable caring for small, large, young & old pets & will care for them as if they were my own!

A definite animal person, Monique just gets it. Pets are family in her home and she treats them with the agency they deserve. She's thorough in her care and treats animals with respect; something we can always use a reminder in. You can count on her taking care of your family member like it's her own. Through a referral, Monique is the very reason my family even has a dog now. She's a great example of a pet owner and should be your top choice.
Monique is absolutely wonderful with animals. She’s great with the details when necessary (eg, medication and any form of special treatment) and animals gravitate to her. I know for a fact that she’d take care of your dog or cat as she would her own (and she has one of each herself), with lots of love. Two thumbs way up from my experience!!
Monique is both considerate & thoughtful as a pet caregiver with the added bonus of being extremely diligent about making sure she pays attention to an individual pets needs & wants.
Monique has always been great with animals. She grew up with dogs and was taught the way to approach, care for & love animals and it shows in her everyday interactions with her own animals. She is great with both dogs and cats, treating them like her kids and does the same with others pets as well. I would trust her any day to watch my pets knowing they would be in great, loving hands!

A typical day
If there is a dog park around & the owner and dog are both comfortable with other dogs, I will take your dog to play after a couple weeks of learning his/her mannerisms. If not, no problem! I am ok with walking along trails or through the neighborhood or playing with your dog in the backyard!
