Pet care experience
Friends and fam rely on me to watch their furry friends when they’re out of town. I’m a great walker and enjoy cuddles and play time. I totally get that some dogs have funny quarks and can easily accommodate that! I also have experience caring for special needs and elderly pets that require medicine. Although I love pets, I have none of my own so this is how I get the cuteness fix 😊.

Monique was great with our pup, Bert! She was able to watch him last minute and was very flexible with drop off and pick up. He made himself right at home and she sent us pictures with updates!
This was my first experience with Monique. I’m so happy I found someone like her to look after my baby when I’m out of town. She sent pictures and was super patient with me asking questions all the time. I would definitely recommend her and will leave Mel with her anytime! ?
We were visiting from out of town, and Monique was able to accommodate the dates and times needed. She even offered to keep our pup longer than requested, which was much appreciated. It's been quite awhile since we've used Rover services, but Monique made us feel at ease. My husband and I would highly recommend her services.
Monique was awesome and I'd definitely have her watch my furbaby again. She kept in touch with me and was proactive with my older dog's needs.

I have a fenced in yard and I live alone (no pets of my own either). I can easily fit/use a crate if necessary. I own a car and can drive to a nearby vet in the case of an emergency. My condo is two bedrooms so there’s enough space to roam. The yard is a shared yard with my neighbors but only two other people in the building have dogs (which are small and friendly) so I can ensure to not be out there with your dog while those dogs are out. Being in a condo, it is preferable that the dog doesn’t bark excessively, however, I have never received a noise complaint. My neighborhood is safe and I own a car so that in the case of an emergency I can quickly get your pet to a vet. I do ask that owners advise me on any specific behavior preferences. (I.e. “We don’t let him on the couch at home so please don’t let him get used to it at your house” or allergies, etc.)

I like to play fetch in my backyard. Living in downtown Winter Park is nice because I can walk the dog to Park Ave for a stroll. I am a big treat giver (keep a spare bag around always) and would love to know any fun tricks you’ve trained your dog to know!

I live alone and work from home in a two bedroom condo on the first floor. My building is small and has a very nice fenced in yard so if I can’t walk the dog because of a work meeting, etc. I can easily let them outside. When I am pet sitting I keep any personal outings to a minimum. On weekends and after work during the week (5:30pm or later) I can take a dog for longer walk around downtown Winter Park. During the week I rarely go out with the exception of the gym (usually there for about an hour). Working from home easily enables me to accommodate specific eating and walking times, especially for dogs still in the training process.
