My many years of working in the animal medical field as a registered veterinary technician with cats, dogs, birds, exotics & horses makes me an excellent choice to care for your beloved pets. Over the many years of my animal husbandry expierence I have done everything from raising many different types of animals: birds, dogs, cats, rabits, fish, horses to helping them deliver their young, & showing. I've done work in small & large animal facilities as well as zoological parks. My skillset & expierence includes the full scope of all animal husbandry tasks including administering all medications and special treatments. I look forward to getting to know your pets & the opportunity to give the highest level of quality care to them while you are away. Animals & I have always had a mutual affinity towards one another, they can sense when another warm heart truly loves them right back! Whatever life stage your pet is in, puppy to senior I’ve experienced many times over & able to cater to that need. No matter if your pets have scales, fur, or feathers, large or small I’m ready to love & care for them all with a lifetime of personal & on the job experience. The absolute best care of your pet is my fulltime passion. So while I am scheduled to care for your pet, they take center stage & are the only key activity of the day. I'll look forward to learning what makes your pets day special. Also I'm glad to hear all the details of your pets daily routine that makes you the pet owner feel comfortable having your pet cared for by someone other than yourself. In my many years of experience boarding cats, dogs & horses either at my home or veterinary facilities, I witnessed they thrive best in their own home environment. Often times animals will go off their fed or be somewhat depressed in new or different surroundings while owners are away. Your pets well being while you are absent is of the utmost importance, therefore your home environment I believe is best. Being able to walk in the neighborhood they are use to is nice or if your pet likes other outings that’s good as well. Keeping the pets normal routine as close to what they are use to is a key to their comfort in your absence. Whatever you think Fifi or Brutus will like. Having lived in McCall since 1990 & now back in Boise I’m willing to cover all areas from here to there…. Whatever gives my client & pet the most Tailored & Purrfectly Peaceful experience.

Monique is incredible. She is responsible and caring. Our pups were instantly comfortable with her! Monique is thorough in asking questions and gaining understanding about routines and our pups as well. She engaged with them, loved on them while we were away, and took them on walks. She communicated and sent pictures too. We definitely will call her again, she is so awesome!
We would highly recommend Monique as a house/pet sitter. This was our first time having someone stay at our house to take care of our dog and we noticed a distinct difference in our dogs stress level - much calmer - due to being able to stay in her own environment. But also no doubt her happy attitude was from being thoroughly spoiled, exercised and having a constant companion with her for the three days we were gone. Booking the sitter on Rover was so simple and we certainly hit the jackpot with Monique as our babysitter. Whew, what a relief to find such an exceptional option for our pet's care while were gone.
Monique did a fantastic job with my 2 Schnauzers. My male dog can be very selective about who he is willing to let handle him and within 10 minutes of meeting Monique he was actively soliciting her attention. She stuck to their schedule and gave me frequent updates of how they were doing. She even checked on my plants and made sure my trash can made it to the curb for trash day. I would definitely recommend her for any pet sitting needs and I look forward to having her sit for me again in the future.

A good review of the things your dog enjoys and maybe some things that frighten them will be helpful to your dogs time away from you. I would like to know if they are good with other dogs or cats or children. How they behave on a leash, specific commands you may be working on or things that you are working on around the house, if they are not supposed to be on the couch. Any specifics to your dog that you think may be helpful, im ready to make a warm comfortable Environment for your dog while you’re away so they are happy and content.
A typical day
Dogs that have had affection & exercise are happy dogs. So whatever your dogs favorite games are, there will be plenty of that, as well as praise, lots of petting, & telling them they are a good dog! Because that actually releases endorphins-the happy hormones. The day would start off with feeding and any special medication requirements, making sure the dog bowls are clean, and that the environment is safe & all is well. Extra puppy checks if they’re young and maybe just some more behind the ear scratches and belly rubs if they are older then maybe a visit to their favorite park or a walk on the river. A good game of fetch and always reviewing & rewarding basic commands. Definitely a tour of the yard to make sure all refuse has been picked up. So whatever makes your dogs day special & they are used to will be the order of the day. I love learning about each new animals routine and what they like and what they don’t like. Looking forward to see all the nuances about your pup. We’ll end the day with some dinner and another walk and some more snuggles and tail wags for a barktakular day!
