I've cared for pups and cats for about 10+ years. I'm basically every friend's "auntie" when it comes to pets and anyone and everyone I know who owns one has reached out at some pt to ask me to sit for them. I love and care for them like my own.

Monique did an excellent job taking care of my two cats while I was out of town! She always sent me updates and daily photos so I could see them every day. I would certainly request Monique’s pet care services again!
Monique was a fabulous sitter for our often anxious hound. She is an excellent communicator and may even have ESP. It seemed like everyone someone in the family mentioned our pup, ping, a message and photos of our girl came through. Monique was very accommodating to our quirks and last minute changes in plans. We will definitely rebook with Monique for our next trip.
Monique did a great job taking care of my two cats! She was very personable and communicative. She checked in during each visit while I was out of town and shared updates about how my cats were doing.
Monique was wonderful with our rescue dog and understanding her special needs. Very good in communication and follow through. We will definitely use her again for future house sitting or dog walks. Thanks, Monique!

I am happy to host depending on the situation and the size of your dog (small living space) . If I’m at your house, I will take care of and respect your space as if it were my own. I've sat for friends in their space many many times and leave their home cleaner than it was when I left (I don't offer cleaning services though. :) ). I appreciate very clear instructions from the pet parents and any quirks their pets might have.

I think it's super important to know your pet's quirks. If they don't like being pet somewhere or some kind of movement that might set them off. Their behaviors- do they bark a lot and why? Their eating and walking schedule is really important too. Having emergency numbers handy and all the important pertinent information always makes things go smoother.
A typical day
I love to walk so walking dogs is ideal for me, or cuddling. Throwing the ball or some kind of object they like to play with is also fun to watch. I don't prefer to take dogs I sit to dog parks where there are dogs I am not familiar with so backyard situations with obedient dogs that will come when you call them, are my favorite. :)

Availability
I work from home and my schedule tends to be flexible and am a fairly early riser. I do often head out of town on the weekends to visit my family but weekends can be flexible at times too. I also have a reliable car.
