Monique is an excellent pet sitter. She is by far the biggest dog lover I know. We don’t trust very many people with our dog, but Monique gave us such a sense of ease leaving her. She followed our directions and always gave me a “pup date” every time she stopped in to take care of her and would call if there was anything off. As our dog got older, our dog required more care and Monique was always willing to do whatever we asked. I believe she loved our baby like her own. It is so refreshing to have someone I completely trust to take care of our dog when we had to leave her.

Monique is a great person to be trusted with someone else's fur baby/babies.She loves animals and actually have three beautiful dogs and two cats of her own.She has been involved with finding odopted families for pets that she herself had fostered.I would not hesitate to allow Monique, handle my babies. Thank you,

Monique is a great pet sitter! She went above and beyond with my 2 maltese dogs. She’s patient, loving and very thorough. I would highly recommend her and continue to use her!

Information Monique H. would like to know about your pet

Absolutely, understanding your pet's allergies, triggers, and reactive behaviors is crucial for their well-being and safety. Prior to caring for your pet please let me know about any known allergies or sensitivities they may have. This includes allergies to food ingredients, environmental allergens such as pollen or certain cleaning products, and any known reactions to specific stimuli. Furthermore, we pay close attention to your pet's behavior during our time together, observing for any signs of discomfort, anxiety, or reactivity. Whether it's a sensitivity to loud noises, certain types of people or animals, or specific environments, I take proactive measures to minimize stress and ensure a comfortable experience for your pet. Open communication is key, so I encourage you to share any relevant information about your pet's allergies or triggers, as well as any specific strategies or accommodations that help manage their sensitivities. By working together, we can create a safe and supportive environment where your pet can thrive.

A typical day

A typical day begins with greeting my furry friends with warmth and enthusiasm, setting the tone for a day filled with love and care. After ensuring they're fed and hydrated, we embark on a variety of engaging activities tailored to each pet's preferences and needs. For active pups, we might start with a brisk morning walk or exploring local parks or trails to stimulate their senses and provide exercise. Back at home, we might engage in interactive play sessions with toys or games of fetch to keep their minds sharp and their bodies active. For our feline friends, mornings often involve playtime with toys designed to mimic natural prey, satisfying their hunting instincts and providing mental stimulation. Throughout the day, I prioritize mental enrichment through puzzle toys, scent games, and or offering mental challenges that keep pets engaged and fulfilled. Snuggle breaks are also essential, providing comfort and affection to our furry companions. As the day winds down, I ensure pets are well-fed and comfortable, perhaps winding down with a calming walk or some quiet cuddle time before bedtime. Our goal is to provide a fulfilling day full of fun and love, ensuring pets are happy, healthy, and enriched.
