I grew up always being surrounded by animals/pets from guinea pigs, goldfish, dogs, cats, chickens, pigs, turkeys, goats and cows. I’m a fur mom of two dogs-an English Mastiff and a boxer/pit mix we recused from Georgia, a handsome male cat we rescued, a beta fish and 17 chickens. Past work experience include working at a dog groomer in the area for 5 years. I worked with dogs and cats while working there so I have been around/handled a lot of different breeds of dogs and cats in all shapes and sizes from little dogs to massive dogs. When working there I assisted with holding the dog or cat on the grooming table with the groomer, I fully bathed and dried them, helped clip dogs and cats nails, I constantly cleaned the crates, tub, grooming tables, work areas and tools used for grooming, tended to the animals for potty breaks/cleaned up their business and I stayed/looked after the animals until picked up by their owners. I also helped with setting up clients appointment for their fur babies and going over everything that was done for their dog(s) or cat(s). I have watched my own family members pets while they were away and I have experience with dog sitting clients dogs that came to the groomer I worked at since I was familiar with their pets already. I have been around puppies, senior dogs, dogs that have anxiety issues, dogs with disabilities, and dogs that have some aggressive behavior too and would be willing to meet your fur babies to see if I would be a perfect fit to care for them.
