Pet care experience
I have a 8yr old, large, energetic boxer/lab named Bella and she is my whole world. I hate leaving her every morning to sit in a cubicle all day, so Rover seems like my calling. As long as your dog doesn't bite, I will spoil them as if they were my own! I have a corner yard for some outside time & plenty of space for our indoor only dogs as well. I do not use crates unless you provide, all dogs are free to roam in the room or the yard. I also will always keep my dog in a separate room strictly out of an abundance of caution. But she has grown up with my 6yr old daughter & is very family friendly regardless.

A true lifesaver!!
Monique was so sweet with Ghost, you can tell that she loves dogs and wants to make sure they are as happy as possible being away from their home. I could see that he was well taken care of while I was away for the weekend, and that put me at ease. Thank you.
Monique is excellent! She was very attentive to my dog, Wendy’s need and concerns always keeping me updated as well as sending pics and a video! I highly recommend Monique and will definitely have her care for my Wendy when I have to go out of town again. Thank you again Monique! ?
Monique was great! It’s really hard for me to feel comfortable leaving my elderly dog with sitters, but she obviously loves dogs so much I felt very comfortable leaving him in her care. I will definitely book her again.

As far as in the clients home, care would be provided however the pet owner suggests. Crate or no crate is fine by me. In my home, dogs are like family so typically they are allowed to be on the furniture or play outside. I do not own crates but if the owner prefers that method and can provide one, I have no issues with that.

I would always ask about feeding times, what foods they are used to or not used to eating, are they energetic or like to lay around. I do need to know if your dog has a tendency to get aggressive. However you care for your dog is how I would like to as well, consistency is important especially when in an unfamiliar environment.
A typical day
My dog gets a bark box every month so we have plenty of toys and treats (if allowed) for your fur baby. There is a little park right around the corner or they can also run around the back yard.

Availability
I teach preschool during the day but am home after I pick up my daughter from school, usually 3pm ish. Weekends/holidays I’m usually available 24/7. I am excellent about sending photos/videos during the stay as I know I’d want them if it was my dog :)
