Pet care experience
We love good dogs, like to be active, live in a spacious apartment, and have a pretty flexible schedule. We grew up with dogs and have taken care of dogs for several years and really enjoy it. Your dogs will get plenty of excercise and pets. I currently work at Children's National in D.C. and am in nursing school at University of Maryland. My husband is finishing up a masters degree at George Washington and works in Baltimore. Our apartment is near a lot of open spaces including 2 parks, neighborhoods with sidewalks and dog parks. We currently do not have any dogs of our own but plan on getting one very soon. We really look forward to getting to know your dogs! -Monika & Max

Leaving our dogs is always hard for us because they are very anxious and don't do well even with small changes. Monika and her husband made us so much more comfortable leaving them. Before we left, Monika came over to meet the dogs and learn their routine. Giving the dogs a chance to meet her before we left made us and them much more comfortable. While we were gone, we got daily updates (with pictures!) about how our girls were doing. Communication with Monika was excellent throughout the whole process and we highly recommend her!
Monika was wonderful to our 10 month old pup. She was responsive, provided many updates for this overprotective dog mom, and gave him plenty of exercise and love for the weekend. They had tons of fun and I will definitely use her again.
Monika and Max were fantastic! My Murphy can be challenging and I'm always nervous to leave her. I never had any concerns about her while I was away because I knew she was in such good hands. Thank you both for loving my baby while I was away. She came home a happy and tired pup :)
Monika is great with animals, and particularly loves dogs! She has grown up with dogs and takes excellent care of her family pup, and often hosts her at her home. She and her husband always eagerly help with my dog and treats her like their own (including spoiling her with treats and dog toys!). My dog is always happy to see them. Monika is also exceptionally calm, patient, and understanding, which is essential when meeting and caring for new dogs!
