Pet care experience
I've been a pet owner all my life - I grew up with dogs and cats always in the house. I live with my husband and we currently have an older Siamese cat (Sam!) and a young Labrador Retriever named Sadie who joined our family during Covid quarantine. These days I am working primarily from home and available for frequent play and potty breaks. We have a large fenced in yard for lots of secure outdoor play time. Sadie is very outgoing and loves playing with other dogs. She gets along well with others and occasionally goes to daycare to socialize. My husband and I are training her ourselves and are open to working on some tricks or basic obedience with our guests during their stay. Dogs visiting our home will be treated like members of the family!

Monica and Sadie (Monica's pup) were perfect hosts for my fur baby, Harley. Monica's calm, sweet temperament made Harley at ease while Sadie's energy and playfulness kept him occupied and engaged! Throughout Harley's stay, I received regular updates including pictures and videos. I felt confident while away that I left my dog in safe, competent care. I'll definitely use Monica for future care!
Monica is a very passionate and caring pet person. She is a cat and dog mom. She is an excellent trainer and has trained her puppy so well that her puppy is really smart and well mannered. She is very knowledgeable about dogs and willing to share with anyone. She has been using her skills with foster dogs to train them, socialize them and fix some personality issues before finding a new owner. I would 100% recommend Monica to anyone!
Monica is an excellent dog mom and babysitter. She is consistent with doggy training and pays attention to her pets diligently. Responsible, caring, attentive, and fun dog sitter!

A typical day
Fetch in the backyard is a staple of our everyday activity and we like to incorporate mental enrichment activities (hide-and-seek, training, tricks, puzzle games, etc) in addition to physical activity. We take walks around our neighborhood, which is fairly quiet and backs up to the Kettering recreation complex. We love going on hikes in local nature reserves and finding swimming spots for Sadie.
