I have been an animal lover since the day I was born. For as long as I can remember there have always been animals in my home including dogs, cats, birds, fishes, turtles, and even bunnies. Obviously, I developed a huge affection towards all animals and I learned how to care for each and every one of them. The experience I gained at home made it easier when I had my internship at my pets vet back home in the Dominican Republic. There I developed even more skills about how to care for animals and how to treat many different diseases. Every day I got to go to the vet and work hand in hand with all of the veterinarians. It started off as a week internship requirement for my high school in order to graduate, but I ended up interning for the entire summer 2018. Now, I am currently a student at Western Michigan University. I brought my dog, Max, all over from the Dominican Republic with me. I love taking him for walks in the trails and take him almost every day to the Knollwood park to play. I never leave him alone for more than 2-4 hours. He was raised with 5 other dogs back at home, so I always want to take him to play with other dogs and arrange puppy play dates. I currently have a lot of time for Max and would love for him to have other furry friends to play with him. I am sure that Max and your furry friend would enjoy each other very much. Not only will Max be super happy with a friend, but I love animals and always enjoy taking care for any pet!
