Hello! I am new to Rover, and decided to try this out for a while! I have grown up around all sorts of dogs, cats, and birds. I am the person that will ask to pet your dog! I am a student teacher from Fort Hays State University (Western Kansas, about 3 1/2 hours to the west), currently living in Shawnee and teaching at an elementary school in Olathe. I teach choir and voice lessons, and will graduate in the spring. I am extremely responsible, and get along very well with animals. I grew up with several dogs in my life until my dad became allergic. As soon as I get a more permanent living situation, I will adopt a dog myself.
