Hello there! I'm in my 20s and absolutely adore spoiling little pups and cats rotten! With a wealth of experience as a dedicated dog care taker, I've previously worked at Roam N’ Board (a kennel/pet hotel), volunteered as a vet tech at Apricot Vet, and am currently immersed in my studies as a vet tech student. My schedule is consistently filled with the joy of spending time with dogs, and I wouldn't have it any other way. Having had the privilege of working with a variety of furry friends, I've encountered the full spectrum of canine companions – from seniors to playful puppies, tripod and paraplegic dogs, to those who may be a bit more reactive. My experience extends to dogs of all sizes, from the tiniest teacup pups to the gentle giants. And when it comes to our feline friends, I've met some that are incredibly sweet and vocal, while others prefer to curl up in the corner, requiring the gentle touch of giant oven mitts. During my time at the boarding facility, I had the opportunity to delve into basic training under the guidance of a skilled mentor. I've since applied these skills to the dogs I've had the pleasure of dog sitting, tailoring my approach based on each client's specific requests. Monica was amazing from the beginning to the end! Super flexible and open to meeting when the schedule works best for both parties. She sent multiple photos and videos daily which was perfect when we were missing our bud. She even taught our old dog a new trick! Highly recommend her for anyone and would certainly reach out again to have her take care of our dog for us! Thank you!

For Dogs- Leashes are a must. Although you dog may be friendly, I would like to avoid any conflict with any other approaching animal by just simple avoiding them. Safety is my top priority above all. Hot summer days, walks may not be possible if the pavement is too hot. If I am not able to walk barefoot, they aren't either. Any chews or toys given are under supervision. For Cats- Going in/out of the door is will be quick and swift to avoid escape artists. I find most cats are couch pottos so I just let them be.

I don't have any breed preferences – all dogs are welcome in my world! What's important to me is transparency and your pet's well-being. Prior to booking, please let me know about any behavior issues, food allergies, triggers, or specific release words your pet responds to. This helps me create a safe and enjoyable experience for your pet and myself. I don't turn away clients if you're upfront about these details. A heads up: I'm all for security cameras! I understand the need to check in on your pups and for security purposes. However, for my own comfort, please disclose all security cameras before the booking date. I have my own cameras too. If there are undisclosed cameras during the stay, I may have to cancel the booking. Safety first, for all of us! Can't wait to meet your furry friend and make their stay fantastic!
A typical day
During my dog-sitting adventures, I love engaging pups in mentally stimulating activities. From lick mats and treat puzzles to snuffle mats and kong toys, I tailor each experience to suit their preferences. During walks, I observe—some love to sniff and explore, and I'm all for letting them indulge in mental stimulation. For the more energetic ones, a game of fetch or other physical exercises is always on the agenda. Catering to the individual needs of your furry friend is my top priority. With cats, it's a different ballgame. I've found joy in engaging them with rattle balls, kicker toys, and the infamous laser pointer. And, of course, catnip always adds an extra layer of feline fun. Ensuring that each pet gets the personalized attention and activities they love is what makes every sitting experience special and enjoyable for both of us!

Currently I work full-time M-F 8am-4:45pm. However, caring for animals is my true passion and I enjoy spending as much time as I can for those who might not have as much time to spare for their 4 legged friends :)
