I'm a 24 year old girl who loves dogs of all breeds and personalities. I'm kinda quiet which is great for shy dogs but I can also be fun and interactive with your dog if they prefer that. Since I was little, I've always been interested in dogs and their behavior. I read every dog book I could get my hands on. I grew up with dogs both big and small, from Bullmastiff to Coton de Tulear, and I spent my free time training and walking them. I even did a few experiments/observations of dogs for the science fair when I was in school. I have owned three dogs so far: a Rottweiler/Boxer (she was my childhood best friend), a German Shepherd (he was like a brother to me), and I currently own a Rottweiler/German Shepherd in training to become a service dog. For training, I use positive reinforcement and LIMA (Least Intrusive, Minimally Aversive) approach for behavior modification and training. I hate to see stressed dogs so I do whatever I can to make them feel at ease. I have experience caring for other people's dogs and volunteering at the animal shelter. The health and well-being of your dog comes first and I will respect whatever you want me to do for them. I understand that your fur baby is like a family member to you and I will treat them as the loved companion that they are.

Monica watched our dog Gus while we were on a long trip. Once again, Gus loved every second he was there! It was so nice knowing he was being loved and having the best time playing. I cannot recommend her enough!
Monica is so awesome to take a good care of my 1 yo golden doodle pup, Sugar. It has been great joy to see Sugar was running super fast to Monica’s home to play with her dogs whenever I dropped her off. Monica sent a great amount of photos so that I felt assured Sugar had a great time, and a detailed Rover card with the number of breaks and others. Monica is one of the best dog sitter. I would recommend anyone who is looking for a good sitter with a huge backyard.

I have an acre of fenced yard and three friendly dogs and a human family to keep your fur baby company. I can easily crate your dog if needed, but most of the day will be spent playing and going on adventures and napping on the couches and floor.

Walking: I do not weigh much so a dog 50+ pounds that pulls will need to have a head halter. I can provide one if you do not own one. Treats: I like to give dogs treats to make their experience more pleasurable. Let me know if you are okay with that and if your dog has allergies, unless you provide the treats. This is optional though. For daycare or boarding your dog must be dog friendly. We have a 2 year old male Rottweiler/German Shepherd, a 6 month old female Miniature Australian Shepherd, and a 7 year old male Miniature Poodle that are all dog friendly. We will have a meet and greet to make sure all the dogs get along. Your dog must also be okay with children ages 5 and 9 since I have my nephew and niece over often. For the sake of my neighbors I cannot take dogs that bark incessantly.
A typical day
Daycare & Boarding: The dogs will get plenty of exercise with lots of toys both inside and in the fenced backyard with my other dogs. They will never be left home or around the other dogs unattended. They can sleep anywhere they want (except my bed), but puppies will have to be in a crate at night for their own safety and to help with potty training. With your permission, I will take your pup on adventures to the park and walking trails (on a leash of course). Grooming: I provide nail trimming so long as your dog is okay having his or her paws handled. I also provide dog bathing and I will brush out your dog's fur (check my rates). If you have something like a poodle, I may not be the best for grooming since I am not a professional. Dog Training: If you are interested in having your dog trained or you need training advice, we can discuss the price as Rover does not have dog training as a service option.
