Pet care experience
I grew up with dogs in my home, from a cocker spaniel to 3 dachshunds at once! Now that I'm an adult I found the love for cats! I have a cat who is almost 2 years old and have fallen completely in love with being a cat mom. I hope to someday have a household with both dogs and cats. As far as my experience, growing up with dogs and walking them and playing with them and caring for them and grooming them - I have had experience since I was 5 years old. As a cat owner myself - I have learned a lot about litter and caring for the litter box and feedings and even grooming. I have also helped care for puppies for family and roommates. I trained puppies to potty & crate train with persistence and consistency. Honestly - our kitties and pups are our babies and I understand that they often feel confused when their pawrents aren't around so I try my best to make sure they feel loved still and that their pawrents will be back!

Amazing! Honestly blown away with Monica. I have had mixed experiences through Rover, but can definitely say I am happy with the service Monica provided. She is thoughtful, professional, and so loving with my babies. I have one shy cat, and Monica was patient and attentive, though mindful of not over-stepping comfort level. I also have an overly friendly cat- she was super engaging with him. In terms of care, Monica was diligent, followed routine, and provided thorough updates. She is someone you can trust and her care leaves you at peace. So much trust with Monica. Her daily updates made me smile. She’s one of my trusted, reliable sitters when available. Monica was a really excellent sitter. She communicated before during and after, sent plenty of photos and videos, and gave tons fo cuddles to our cat. Monica was really thoughtful about mentioning the litter box status, and verbally confirming that the automatic feeder was working properly. I know my cat Mimi loved Monica’s company. Thanks Monica!
Monica has been nothing short of perfection to our Stormy girl. She is so good with our shy baby, brought her so many Churus which are now her favorite snack, and sent the most adorable photos and videos during every visit. We're so thankful for Monica's kindness and generous spirit and will definitely try to book her again the next time we're out of town. Thank you Monica for being the BEST - we all adore you, especially Stormy!!!

I have a space separate from my personal pet that I am staying in and will be hosting the fur babies via rover. My cat will not be or see any pets I am hosting. I don't have a yard but will be happy to frequently give potty breaks for your pup and am in a good proximity from Jack London Square where there is a beautiful walking path nearby. I do live near the train tracks so hopefully the fur babies are okay with the sound of a train passing, the horns and crosswalk bells dinging. As far as cat care in someone else's home - I have cleaned up after some cats who had accidents outside of the litterbox or vomit or coughed up fur balls. I usually inform the pawrent as well.

A typical day
I live near Jack London Square and Brooklyn Basin and will definitely be taking the doggies out for a nice walk near the water! If your pup is okay with it - I will probably do some coat brushing at home to keep them looking shiny. As far as cat care - I'm always down to play with the kitty or offer lots of pets and scratchies.
