Pet care experience
I’ve taken care of pets since I could remember. I always had a pet cat or dog, and cared for them until their last days. I love both cats and dogs! When I am caring for them, I enjoy providing a fun and loving experience for all pets! I always think about how their lives are shorter than the human lifespan so how can I help create more fun memories and experiences for them while they’re in my care. I’m working towards owning my own business so I can provide this ongoing care!

Monica did a great job of walking my 80 lb Siberia husky on a very hot day. She graciously volunteered to come back later in the evening to walk her when the sidewalks would be cooler. Monica very professionally kept a close eye on my husky to make sure she wasn't over heating. Monica is kind a patient with my fur babies, and I highly recommend her to care for your pets.
Monica watched my cat and dog for 4 days and did a fantastic job. She followed directions exactly, communicated with me daily, and sent lots of photos of my fur babies. The animals loved her and warmed to her right away. I highly recommend Monica to take care of your pets.

In my home I have a medium/ large fenced yard for the dogs to use frequent bathroom breaks and a nice space to play without a leash. I do allow pets to lay on my bed, unless the pet prefers their own bed/ crate. When caring for my client’s pet in their home, I make sure to meet in person ahead of time to ensure my client is comfortable and has the opportunity to meet me and go over any important details before leaving for a business trip or a vacation!

A typical day
I enjoy going on hikes and walks, especially to local beaches. I am most familiar with all the dog friendly parks and beaches in San Francisco. I understand that not all dogs enjoy car rides so for those who absolutely hate it, I like to bring out all my dog toys to the backyard. I enjoy practicing teaching dogs simple tricks so that they may enjoy their treats as rewards!

Availability
I am currently available Sunday’s after 3pm, all day Monday and Tuesday, and I am available until Wednesday at 4pm. My availability is limited due to my school and work schedule.
